In this straight maiden race for 4yo and up trainer Bruce Headley has a three horse entry and the red hot Baffert has two entered No. 5 Temp the likely chalk and No. 8 Fast Master a first timer with win early breeding and Gomez. Trainer Richard Mandella sends out first time starter No. 3 One Nation who looks very live off of that 6 furlong work on December 31st. 3-5-8

No. 5 Van Brit had a nice prep at Hollywood and now is back at her favorite track where she has won four of six starts on this turf course. No. 7 Lady Alex also loves this layout as she has won both of her turf starts here. 5-7

There is a ton of early speed in here which may set things up for someone off the pace but who will that filly be? No. 5 No Apology may sit as will No. 7 A Natural who gets a turn back in distance for Baffert. No. 13 Frigid Bridget also will be making a late run. 5-7-13

No. 5 Blue Chagall just may outclass these in this flat mile on the grass, No. 9 Ryehill Dreamer is the stablemate of Blue Chagall and the speed. 3-9

No. 7 Merlin Z is the one to beat with the drop in class and Bejarano, beat him to cash. 8

No. 2 Usually Super will try and run down No. 1 Million Town. 1-2
