There is a ton of early speed in this six furlong sprint, the one for sure closer in the race is No. 2 Tony Blackjack who comes off the layoff for D’Amato, his works say ready, we will take our shot and single in the early pick five. 2

Race 3

No. 1 Distinctive B is the speed on the rail and a big dropper for Miller who is looking for the win. No. 4 Marriedtothemusic also has big early speed, he is in from Belmont for Jacobson and gets his first start for him off the $32k claim. No. 6 New Karma is the price play from off the pace. 1-4-6

Race 4

Mike Smith gets back on No. 2 Blame It On Alphie who has been over her head in her last two starts, he last win came here at this distance and level when Smith rode her. No. 3 Moonless Sky has won four of her five grass starts on this course. No. 4 Fizzy Friday won her first start on the West Coast and now lands in the D’Amato barn and Prat gets the leg up. 2-3-4

$12,500 claimers go 1-1/16, trainer Richard Baltas tosses a bone out for jockey Laura Werner on No. 4 Orejas who broke his maiden here one race back. No. 6 Run Like Rhett drops into a good spot. No. 9 Moonlight Blue also drops and gets Kent D riding for Cerin and that’s always a good sign. No. 10 Roosevelt makes his first start for Bernstein and first as a gelding. 4-6-9-10

Race 6

$10k claimers go six furlongs, the bottom drops out of No. 5 Lewys Vaporizer as he is wheeled back in just 7 days by Jacobson. No. 12 Indavidualist has won three races in  his lifetime and all three where here, look for the big wake up race, after those two it’s up for grabs. 5-12

Race 7

4yo and up fillies and mares go down the hill for a claiming price of $50k. No. 6 Allsquare just missed last out down the hill and is the girl to beat off of that effort. No. 7 Peach Cove is very consistent and will be right there at the end. No. 8 Scattagirl moves from the inside to the outside and that will make a big difference today and Kent sticks. No. 9 An Unusual Group is in tip top form and owns a win down the hill. No. 11 Del Mar Ann is in top form and also has won down the hill, she gets a great post. 6**-11**/7-8-9

Race 8


No. 5 War Heroine won like a champ first out of the box when hand ridden late by Prat. No. 6 Yesterday’s News ran second in the Grade 1 Starlet going 1-1/16, she will love this distance. No. 7 Win the War is in from Woodbine for Mark Casse, she looks like the real deal and Tyler Gaffalione is in for the ride. No. 8 Midnight Bisou is very unlucky to still be a maiden losing both of her starts by a nostril to Dream Tree who is not in this race, big race Mike Smith gets his shot today. 6**-7**/5-8

Race 9 

The day ends with 4yo fillies and mares going down the hill. No. 8 Dissension gets back on the grass and back going down the hill, Kent D jumps on for Peter Miller. No. 10 Red Livy is a two-time winner on this course and the speed. No. 9 Liar’s Smoker last won when Corey Nakatani rode her and he gets back on today. 8***-10-9
