3yo cal bred maidens go down the hill. No. 4 Croissant got a shot on this course last out and now gets Nakatani off a nice work. No. 5 Clem Dela Clem exits the same race and gets just his second start. No. 9 Jersey’s Heat ran a good 3rd in his one try down the hill and then went a mile on the grass in his next two starts, he gets Bejarano today and a great post. 9**-4-5

Race 2

$16k maiden fillies and mares 4yo and up go six furlongs. No. 2 Shining Armada has finished second in both of her races. No. 7 Tengas Best Girl is a first timer for Mullins who finds little to beat. No. 9 Dizzy Diva has finished 3rd in her last two at this level. 2-7-9

Race 3

Maiden 3yo fillies go six furlongs. No. 2 Two Steps Faster gets Roman in a big jock switch for Hollendorfer. No. 3 Hottalabamba was sent off at 2/1 in her first start, she owns a big last work. Mike Smith gets on No. 4 Uppercut who is out of the dam Laila’s Punch who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters. 3**-2-4

Race 4

$12,500 claimers 4yo and up go 6-1/2 furlongs on the main. No. 2 Here and There gets his second try on the West Coast, he is a solid 3rd for a $16k price tag last out. No. 3 Well Measured takes a big class drop but Roman sticks. No. 8 Top Brass has big last work, he gets a huge jock upgrade first off the claim. 


Race 5

$25k claimers 4yo and up go down the hill. Prat and Baltas hook up with No. 4 Unusual Meeting on the drop. Tyler Baze and D’Amato hook up on No. 7 Holy Whirl Wind on the big drop. No. 9 General Ike comes off a near miss at this level on this course last out and Kent sticks. No. 11 Coastline exits the same race and gets Bejarano first off the claim. 9**-11*-7-4

Race 6

$30k maiden 3yo go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 4 Trapper Peak has finished second in both of his starts, the last for a $40k price tag, he was claimed but his claim was voided so be careful with this one. No. 7 Sharon’s Fury exits a key race, he ran an even 4th and will improve in start number two. 7***-4

Race 7


The Madams have the upper hand here with No. 2 Madam Dancealot coming off big second in the Grade I American Oaks and No. 4 Madame Stripes off her big win in the Grade III Megahertz. 2-4

Race 8

Optional $40k runners 4yo and up go 7 furlongs. No. 1 Lookie Loo blasted home last out to break his maiden by more than seven lengths, his last work says he will run big again. No. 6 Solid Wager gets some class relief and is proven at this distance. No. 12 Morse Code looks like a sneaky shipper landing in the barn of Baltas. 1-6-12

Race 9

$25k 3yo claimers go seven furlongs. No. 9 Royal Trump drops and will try and take them wire-to-wire. No. 4 Ridgfield Rocket and No. 3 Mesa Jones look the main danger. 9-4-3

Race 10

We have two runners in this $40k optional claimer for 4yo and up going 1-1/4 on the grass, that are exiting our HTW list. No. 3 Saltini who exits as a $$$$$ play and No. 9 Oscar Dominguez first off the Sadler claim.
