SANTA ANITA

Race 1

This is one bad Cal bred straight maiden race going a mile on the grass. No. 4 Wild Lando stretches out for D’Amato and just may take to the grass. No. 5 Dial Me In just missed one race back at Del Mar at this mile turf distance. No. 7 Save Ground is the one to beat off his four starts all going long on the grass.

7-5-4

Race 2

No. 1 Tequila Sunrise has hit the board in all three of her starts, she gets Kent D today trying to get that maiden score. No. 3 Tea for Tam exits the same last race as Tequila Sunrise, she was second losing by just 1/2 length. 1-3

Race 3

No. 1 Topgallant is a steady sort and gets Van Dyke today. No. 2 Sagittari gets a big confident move up off the huge win last out for the Desormeaux brothers. No. 3 Fire to the Wire drops into a good spot.

2-1-3

Race 4

We can only go one way here and single No. 3 Jeweled in the pick five, she will be odds on as Baffert says he gives up on her and the $190k they paid for her, get the win and take the IRS losses. 3

Race 5

No. 5 Neon Gypsy finds a good spot to start her 3yo career. No. 7 Mraseel was way over her head last out in the Sweet Life, she will go better in this spot. No. 9 Dr. Ann gets Prat back, he won with this filly one race back. 5-7-9

Race 6

No. 5 Forbidden Command drops back down and gets off the grass and gets Baze back, who has won with this mare both times he rode her. No. 7 Hope She Will drops into a better spot. 5**-7

Race 7

No. 3 Rocko’s Wheel exits our HTW list, he has a big last work. No. 2 Red Lightning will be out winging from the bell. No. 5 Law Abidin Citizen is on a win every other race pattern and this is his win race. No. 6 Excitations is in from Kentucky and lands in the O’Neill barn and Mike Smith gets the leg up. 3-6-2-5

Race 8

No. 1 Best Two Minutes gets Bejarano back on today, he won with this gelding two times. No. 3 Street Vision beat him one race back. No. 8 Papa Turf is a good fit here. 1-3-8
