SANTA ANITA

Race 1

No. 3 Kopitar gets his second start at this $50k maiden level and first off the Sadler claim, we love the big jock change and the last work. No. 7 Papa Gulf is the stablemate of Kopitar and will be the price play of the two. 3-7

Race 2

No. 1 Core Beliefs gets Mike Smith on the stretchout, he lost at even money last out and looks to redeem. No. 4 Longden ran a good second at this distance last out and looks the one to beat. No. 3 Regulate is the stablemate of Longden and will be the price play of the two. 3-1-4

Race 3

No. 1 Second Gear just missed last out at this level when the bug boy Ceballos got on him, he is back today. No. 3 Tequila Blanco is the only first time starter in this very soft field. 1-3

Exacta box 1-3 and win and place 3

Race 4

No. 3 Two Thirty Five gets his first start off the $25k Baltas claim and it’s a good sign that he places him in this claim proof spot. No. 4 Super Duper Cooper looks live at a nice price. 3-4

No. 1 Pantsonfire comes off a solid win and likes this mile turf distance. No. 2 Fizzy Friday just missed last out at this level and distance and Prat sticks. No. 5 Shazara gets a jock switch and back to the distance of his last win. 2-1-5
