Race 1

No. 4 Chalky gets back to going a mile on the grass for D’Amato. No. 8 You Missed It has run just one bad race and that was when she was overmatched in the Grade III Edgewood at Churchill Downs. No. 9 Dhafeera is the speed and if she gets loose on an easy lead she could be gone before the rest knows what happened. 9**-8-4

Race 2

Trainer Bob Baffert had this maiden race for 3yo going 5-1/2 furlongs bookended with No. 1 Lontani and No. 6 Most Amusing, one of them should get the maiden score. 1-6

Race 3

No. 4 Cono exits our HTW list as a $$$$$ play off his near miss last out when hopping at the start, Mike Smith sticks. No. 3 Colosi has really got his act together since moving to the grass and looks the main danger. 4**-3

Race 4

No. 2 Mercer Island is in tip top form and continues his move up the claiming ladder first off the Morey claim. No. 1 Gentrified will be making his late run. No. 5 Out of Patience is the speed and has won 7 of his 18 starts here. 2-7-1

Race 5

No. 1 Twirling Apples drops into a good spot and will get a good rail trip in this mile turf race. No. 8 Subic Bay just missed at this level last out and has a nice last work for this. 8**-1

Race 6

This is a very wide open $30k maiden claimer for 3yo going 6-1/2 furlongs on the main, we will need to go four deep using No. 3 Midnight Soot who drops off the layoff for D’Amato, No. 9 Astro Rider who ran a good one last out first time at this level. No. 10 Sierra Echo who was sent off at 9/5 in his first start and was a solid second and No. 13 Bourbon Dude who has finished second his last two starts. 3-9-10-13

Race 7

No. 2 Party Hostess gets the bug Asa Espinoza in a rare ride for Jerry Hollendorfer on the big drop, this mare looks the one to beat at this level. No. 3 Velvet Jones comes off a nice win vs. $12,500 company and now moves up to $16k claimers in her first race off the Craig Dollase claim, she will find a fast early pace to make her late run. 2-3

Race 8

We get maiden 3yo fillies going 1-1/8 on the grass and we will use four runners exiting the same race and we will key No. 1 Pacific Strike who has been at a disadvantage in his last two starts breaking form post 12 and post 10. He gets the perfect post for this and the good tur rider Nakatani on today, all he needs to do is keep this one clear for his late run. No. 3 Party Dancer ran an improved race last out when Van Dyke got on and he will ride again today. No. 6 Fluffhead will go better in this his second start. No. 7 Movie Moment gets G Franco riding for John Shirreffs. 1**-3-6-7
