Race 2

Optional $75k 3yo go 6-1/2 furlongs on the dirt. No. 2 McKale won at first asking for Baffert at .60 cents on the dollar, he has been working like a tiger and will be short again today. No. 4 Zulfikhar is the barn mate of McKale and is back from Oaklawn Park, they could run one two. 2-4

Maidens go a mile on the main. No. 1 Canadian Game has been nibbling and now gets Tyler Connor in a rare ride for O’Neill, he will try and make the best of it. No. 2 Downtowner made a big five wide run last out at this level and distance just missing by a dwindling length. 2**-1

Race 4

More maidens as now we get $75k claimers 3yo fillies going down the hill. No. 4 Ladybug was claimed for $75k last out and it’s a good sign that she comes back at the same price and Kent D gets the call. No. 7 Mongolian Window was also claimed for $75k last out by the same trainer, John Sadler, she missed by a neck going a mile on the grass last out and she will love this trip. 7**-4

No. 4 Achira has never run a bad race in her four starts just missing behind Vasilika by a nose last out. No. 8 Battleground State has won two of her four turf starts here, she will sit behind the top two and look to nail them on the line. 8**-3-4
