No. 3 Ten Blessings has been prepping for this race all along. No. 5 Ransom the Moon won this race last year when it was run on May 20, he makes his 2018 debut off some big time works. 5-3

Race 6

Optional $75k fillies and mares 4yo and up go down the hill. No. 1 Ancient Secret may have been best last out but trouble cost her, Prat says he will get this mare home today. No. 3 Melissa Jane ran big in her first start in the states last out going 1-1/16 on the grass, she will be flying late. Kent D gets on No. 7 Cordiality who won in her only try on this downhill turf course. No. 8 Blame It On Alphie exits our HTW list off a head loss in the Mizdirecttion which is the same race as Ancient Secret exits and Van Dyke gets back on today, the two times her rode this filly he got a win and a second both on this course.

Race 7

$12,500 claimers 4yo and up travel six furlongs. No. 1 Towards the Light looks perfectly spotted off the easy maiden score and his last work was a pip. No. 5 Liberty Jack gets his second start off the Peter Miller claim and this looks like the money run. 5-1

Race 8


No. 3 Colonist gets back to the distance of his last win. No. 5 Blackjackact will go much better in this spot and he has won 4 of his 7 starts at this mile distance. 5**-3

Race 9

Optional $40k fillies and mares go six furlongs. No. 5 Queen Laila comes off the layoff for Simon Callaghan and finds a very good spot to get the win, she is proven fresh and her works say yes. No. 6 Powder is in top form and fits at this level. No. 7 Wild At Midnight won so easy last out, she can play with winners here and we love Tyler Connor riding for Baffert. 5-6-7

Race 10

Cal bred allowance runners go a mile on the dirt. No. 3 Duluth blasted home to win by six lengths in his first start and it was at this mile distance. No. 7 Continental Divide gets off the grass and gets some class relief. No. 8 Accreditation comes off the win in his first start on the main albeit on a wet fast track. 


Race 11

This eleven race card ends with $20k fillies and mares 4yo and up going a mile on the grass and if you are alive in this pick four its going to pay good. No. 2 Ok Doll will show all for her speed on the stretch back out to her best distance. No. 8 Salsita got a nice prep race last out in the mud, she gets on her correct surface and will be the one to fear late if Asa Espinoza can keep her out of trouble. 2-8
