SANTA ANITA

Race 1

Lots of early speed in this mile turf race for $75k 3yo fillies. We will side with No. 1 Ok Doll who looks the speed of the speed on the rail and No. 5 Backdoor Cover who won first out from off the pace at the Gate and she gets a good turf jock for this. 1-5

Race 2

No. 6 St. Reno blasted home first out of the box for Sadler at Del Mar and it’s a good sign that Sadler puts him in this claim proof starter race. No. 8 Twirling Tiger gets his 14th start, he has finished second in 8 of 13 and is a must use in the exotics. 6-8

Race 3

$30k 2yo maidens go six furlongs and we will take our shot and single No. 12 Kenzou’s Rhythm who gets back to a sprint and finds little to beat. 12

Race 4

$30k maiden 2yo go a flat mile and we will use two that are exiting the same race. No. 2 Ucanthankmelater for the Desormeaux brothers on the drop back to this level, the one time he was at this level he missed by a neck. No. 10 Long Game gets Prat and that could make the difference. 2-10

Race 5

No. 8 Mai Tai is the key player in this downhill turf race, she exits our HTW list and should take to this course. No. 4 Sea Smoke has some good early speed and exits the same race as Mai Tai. No. 10 La Premiere Etoile also exits the race and is a must use. 8**-4-10

Race 7

We get $10k claimers going a mile on the dirt. No. 1 Roman Tizzy drops to his lowest level and will be making a big late run with Bejarano getting the call today. No. 8 Rough Passage is the speed but is 0-11 on this course. No. 9 Willing to Travel gets a big drop in class and could wake up. 1-8-9

THE $75K BLUE NORTH AT A MILE ON THE GRASS

This one is very wide open, we will go with No. 3 Cynthiana off her big maiden score last out, she looks to have put it all together. No. 6 La Force drops and looks the one to beat from far back. No. 7 Yuvetsi has done little wrong in her first two starts down the hill and will love the stretchout. 3-6-7
