$20k maidens go six furlongs. No. 1 Fender Bender looks like a very live Turf Paradise shipper with Franco Geovanni on for Molly Pearson. No. 8 Bless His Heart takes his first start for Palma, this 3yo is not a proven loser like most of these and could pop at a nice price. 1-8

No. 1 Lucy De gets Kent D back on and this mare is in top form and on a win every other race pattern and this is her win race. No. 6 Plein Air went wire-to-wire at this distance in her first start in the country for Baffert. 1**-6

Race 5


No. 4 Dr. Dorr has gotten very good and is the one to beat, we will take our shot and single in the pick five. No. 4***

Race 6

Optional $40k runners go 1-1/4 on the grass. No. 1 Oscar Dominguez gets Kent back on and he was a good 3rd at this distance one race back when Kent rode him. No. 6 Hootie went wire-to-wire at this distance last out when Mike Smith rode him, he stays on today. 1-6

Race 7

$12,500 claimers 4yo and up go a mile on the main. No. 1 Liberty Jack is wheeled back in just 7 days off a narrow loss going six furlongs, he may try and take them wire-to-wire from the cozy rail. No. 3 Pappou takes the big class drop, he could wake up. No. 4 Dad’s a Gambler exits the same race as Jack and is a must use. 1-4-3

Maiden’s go down the hill. No. 7 Fire Rooster is a first time starter by the good turf sire English Channel, he could be live. No. 8 RUMPUS CAT is the one to beat off his near miss on this course last out and we like Nakatani on today. No. 9 Englander is the stablemate of Fire Rooster and is also by English Channel and will love this course, he gets his second start. 3-7-8-9

Race 9

Cal bred maiden fillies and mares go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 5 Miss Ricochet has run three times and finished second in all three, her last work was a doozy. No. 7 Loving Lynda exits our HTW list off a big second first out of the box. 7*-5

$12,500 fillies and mares go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Reckless Charm has finished second in her last two starts both at this level, No. 6 Duranga gets off the grass, takes dip in class and owns a big last work. No. 7 Estherfourfourteen drops a notch and is a good fit with these. 1-6-7

Race 11

$20k claimers 4yo and up go down the hill, trainer Jacobson has been getting hot and he drops No. 9 Skelton Pass to his lowest level looking for the win, after him this one is wide open to say the least.
