$50k maiden fillies and mares go 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Purdue is the only first time starter and trainer Truman is having a great meet. No. 5 Princess Areni drops a notch and has finished second in both of her starts. No. 6 D D’s Lute takes her 11th start but today could be the day at his level. 3-5-6

Race 4

$25k claimers go a mile on the grass and we will go singling in the pick five using No. 7 Dark Energy who gets back to the level of his neck loss one race back, if he can stay clear of trouble he wins. 7***

Race 5

$12,500 claimers go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 2 Junior Gilliam gets his first start off the Sadler claim and he has been a hot trainer especially when Tyler rides for him. No. 3 Louden’s Gray gets a nice jock switch and exits the same race as Junior. No. 6 Bargaining also exits the race losing it by a neck. 2-6-3

Race 6

Cal bred optional $16k runners go down the hill. No. 2 El Tovar has won 5 of 32 starts and all have come on this course including his last start. No. 4 Preacher Roe exits the same race and gets a break in the weights today with Asa Espinoza up for Puype. No. 6 Ibon also exits the race and could be part of the exacta and trifecta. 2-4-6

Race 7

$16k 3yo fillies go six furlongs. No. 5 All Net gets the hot trainer/jockey combo of Jacobson and Pedroza who have hooked up with 3 wins and a second from five runs. No. 6 Bonneville Flats gets a big class drop and could wake up. No. 7 Midnight Summer also takes the huge class drop and gets her second start off the layoff. 5-7-6

Race 8

Optional $40k runners go 5-1/2 furlongs. Baffert looks to have this one in hand as he sends out No. 3 Most Amusing who won first out at .30 cents on the dollar and he also sends out No. 6 Serengeti of the layoff.


Race 9

Maiden 3yo fillies go a mile on the grass. No. 3 Into Glamour gets back to a mile after going down the hill, she will be the speed. No. 8 Spiel has made two starts, both down the hill she will like the longer trip today. No. 9 Loving Moment just missed by a head last out at this mile turf distance. 9**-3-8
