Race 1

Maiden’s go a 1-1/8 on the grass. No. 2 Desert Stone is the key runner in this race as he gets his second off the layoff since coming in from New York and moving into the barn of Richard Baltas, he had a nice prep down the hill and now gets Prat on for the money run. No. 1 Soltero gets his first start on the grass and is bred to like it. No. 5 Frankincense ran a good 3rd her last out at this distance and now gets the blinkers on. 2***-5-1

Race 2

She ran at Keeneland vs. the boys going off at 7/1 of the other seven only of them are colts. No. 2 Sparky Ville and No. 8 Toothless Wonder are two colts that have top barns and are very live.

Race 3

$50k maiden’s travel a mile on the main. No. 7 Momma’s Baby Boy gets the needed class drop, he makes his first start as a gelding and gets the blinkers on as they use all the moves looking for the win. No. 8 Kona Coast gets Prat in a live spot. 7**-8

Race 4

Maidens go a 1-1/8 on the grass. No. 1 Majestic Eagle has run second in all three of his grass races, he may like the longer trip today and Mike Smith gets on for Drysdale. No. 2 Sellwood has hit the board in all three of his grass races, he showed a new running style last out when showing good early speed. No. 4 Noivo is in from Ireland where he started two times on the synthetic surface, he will love the grass, he looks live at a fair price. 1-2-4

** EXACTA BOX 1-2-4

Race 5

$8k claimers go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 6 Mesa Sky will be a short price, we will single him in the picks and make some trifectas using him on top with No. 3 Louden’s Gray who is back in just seven days. No. 7 I’ll Wrap It Up off a win last out and No. 8 Atomic Action the speed on the big drop. 6 with 3-7-8 and 3-7-8 with 6

Race 6

Starter allowance 3yo go seven furlongs. No. 3 Goodwillambassador comes off a big win at this distance for a $50k maiden price tag, he is a good fit. No. 5 Candy Crew will be the speed and is also a perfect fit at this level. No. 9 Joejoe’s Kingdom looks the one to beat off his big win last out in a $40k race, Van Dyke will be sitting back looking to make one late run down the lane. 3-5-9

Race 7

Optional $75k 3yo travel 1-1/16 on the dirt. No. 6 Peace is the key runner here off  the layoff, he was last seen running in the Sunland Derby and before that vs. McKinzie and the Bolt in the San Felipe. Race 8

All we can say is that this is one very bad Cal bred $50k maiden race going a mile on the grass. No. 3 Ashely’s Big Guy drops from straight maiden races and could wake up. No. 6 War in the West is the only first time starter, he is worth a shot to use. After those two you need to hit the all bottom if playing the pick four. 3-6
