No. 2 Little Bit Lovely owns a big last work and gets the move up second off the Hollendorfer claim. No. 6 Red Livy has won 3 of 6 on this course and is the speed on the outside. 


Race 2

2yo maidens go 4-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Luck’s Royal Flush gets his second start and a big jock switch, he was sent off at 6/5 in his first start. Of the first time starters No. 3 Carnivorous looks to have the best shot for O’Neil and Reddam racing. 1***-3

Race 3

Starter allowance runners to 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Polity won like a good thing off the long layoff and looks perfectly spotted. No. 3 Two Hail Marys won in his first try vs. claimers last out which enables him to get into this race. Hess gave him some time off and now he gets his main man Kent D up off a real good last work. 1-3

Race 4

Maiden $50k fillies and mares travel 1-1/8 on the grass. No. 3 Mongolian Humor stretches out and gets on the grass in this her second start, she is live at a big price. No. 6 Trophy Bridle never ran a step going down the hill in her first start, she gets the stretch out and Lasix. No. 10 Brandon’s Law just missed going a mile on the grass last out, she will be on or near the front end. 3-6-10

Race 5

$12,500 claimers fillies and mares 4yo and up go 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 5 Red White ’n Peach is in from Turf Paradise, she gets off the grass and fits with this soft crew. No. 8 Myrcella is her stablemate and finished second here with better on the 4th. 5-8

Race 6

Optional $40k runners go six furlongs. No. 1 Tony Blackjack comes off a little layoff, he just missed at this level and distance last out. No. 2 Swiss Minister loves this track and gets Bejarano off today off the easy win last out. No. 3 Stringent exits the same race as Tony, he finished 4th after leading all the way. 


Race 7

Maiden 3yo go down the hill. No. 5 Alfareed ran ok in his first start and it was down the hill, he can move forward. No. 9 Implicitly comes off a troubled trip on this course in his debut race, look for better and the price will be right. No. 10 Rumpus Cat wins this race if able to run back to his race on April 7th on this course. No. 11 ENGLANDER exits our HTW list off a huge try last out on this course, he will be our key runner. No. 12 Capall exits the same race. 11*** with 5-9-10-12

Race 8

$25k claimers go six furlongs. No. 3 Papa Turf gets his first start off the Keith Desormeaux claim and he puts his brother Kent up for the ride and that last work says he is on go. No. 4 Bargaining gets a big boast in class off the win and Gary Stevens gets on for Jacobson. 3-4

Race 9


No. 6 Moonless Sky gets her second start off the layoff and ran second in this race last year. No. 11 Barbara Beatrice gets back on the grass, she loves this turf course. 11**-6

Race 10

Cal bred $50k maidens go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Perfect Wager drops from straight maiden races and owns a big last work. No. 7 For the Hustle is back with maidens where he ran a good 3rd one race back. Gary Stevens gets on No. 8 North County Guy for Jacbonson on the move up off a good second last out vs. $30k maidens. No. 9 Bless His Heart also moves up off a good 3rd in his first start and he gets Bejarano up today. 1-7-8-9

Race 11

Optional $40k runners travel 1-1/16 on the main. No. 7 Kid Charming just missed at this distance and level one race back when a neck behind No. 9 Ike Walker. No. 10 Downtowner comes off a good maiden breaker and his numbers fit.  7-9-10

Race 12

Preakness day ends with a $20k claimer going a mile on the grass. No. 6 Ky. Colonel won at this distance for a $25k price  tag one race back. No. 8 Secreto Primero gets back to a better distance first off the claim, look for a big run from him today. No. 12 General Ike has a big last work, if he can break sharp and get a good position he has a shot. We like it when Kent sticks around for the last race and he rides No. 1 Broken Up who is a must use. 1-6-8-12
