Race 1

We start this very weak card with a 2yo maiden race going 4-1/2 furlongs. No. 2 Shanghai Fantasy is the key runner in here off her good effort first out at Keeneland vs. some really good 2yo, she gets first time Lasix as she meets the boys. No. 3 Irish Terrier looks live at first asking from Miyadi as does No. 5 Baby Frankie who has the brothers Desormeaux connections. 2-3-5

Race 2

This only runner we can find in this $10k claimer who looks like he can win is No. 2 Matriculate who drops back to his best level, after him this is a real grab bag. 2

Race 3

$20k maidens travel a mile on the main. No. 3 Vegas Itch has run second in his three starts at this level and gets back to a flat mile. No. 6 Chiksika gets his second try at this level and will like the longer trip today. 3-6

Race 4

Optional $16k runners go six furlongs. No. 2 Smiling Angelo won like a good thing first out when bet down to 8/5, he will again look to take them wire-to-wire. No. 4 Fire to the Wire will be running on late if the top one fades. 2-4

Race 5

$40k maiden 3yo go down the hill. No. 7 Conquest Smartee exits our HTW list and is our key play of the day off his race vs. $50k runners last out, this looks like the money run with the bug boy getting on. No. 2 It’s Alexus drops a notch and gets a turn back in distance. No. 3 Sun And Shadow is in from over the pond and makes his first start as a 3yo after on race over there. No. 6 Upo drops in from straight maiden races and could wake up. 7**-2-3-6

Race 6

$12.500 runners go a mile on the main. No. 2 Miracle March takes a big class drop looking for his level. No. 5 Wise Curlin just missed at this level and distance last out. No. 6 Moonman has been over matched and now is back where he belongs. 2-5-6

Race 7

Optional $62,500 runners travel a mile on the main. No. 5 Sorry Erik gets his second start off the layoff, look for his best today. No. 6 Clear the Mine is in tip top form. 5-6

Race 8

No. 3 Courtship drops and gets Prat taking a rare ride for Carla Gaines and owner Burt Bacharach, (rain drops keep falling on my head). No. 7 Camps Bay exits our HTW list and is the one to beat off his good second on this downhill turf course last out. 7**-3
