SANTA ANITA

Race 1

$6,250 fillies and mares go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 6 Parasail is the speed on the drop and the key runner in here albeit at a short price. No. 1 Foxy Fresh likes this track and is in top form and fits at this level. No. 2 Tuscany Beauty was right behind Foxy Fresh last out. 6 with 1-2

Race 2

$20k maiden fillies and mares go 6-1/2 furlongs on the dirt, only one way to go here or hit the all button. No. 3 Mischievious Lass just missed last out for a $30k price tag at this distance, she will be odds on and a solid single in the .14% take out early pick five. 3***

Race 3

Optional $75k runners go down the hill. No. 2 Anatolian Heat has been looking for a spot and finds a good one here, he gets some class relief and Kent on for Peter Miller. No. 5 Cistron ran one time on this downhill turf course and was a solid second in the Desert Code. 2-5

Race 4

No. 1 Eagle Screams is a 9yo gelding who can still motor, he comes off a nice win at this distance and was claimed, Kent D gets the call for Jeff Bonde on the re-claim. No. 3 Mercer Island is another re-claim as he makes a start off the Peter Miller re-claim. 1-3

Race 5

$40k fillies and mares go down the hill. No. 4 Red Shelby and No. 6 Diva La Mousse are the two speed balls in here. They both will be out winging on the front end and if things get dicey up front look for No. 2 Twirling Apples on the turn back and No. 5 Lethal Legacy to both come flying late. 2-4-5-6

No. 5 Surfside Sunset blasted home when dropped in for a $20k maiden claimer, he fits with this crew on the move up. 1-5

Race 7

Optional $62,500 fillies and mares go down the hill. No. 2 NINE POINT NINE exits our HTW list off a great win last out and we love the Kent D/ Cerin hookup, she will be our key runner in here with the No. 1 Quebec who gets her second off the layoff and second on the West Coast for Baltas and No. 4 Painting Corners off the layoff for Peter Miller. 2**with 1-4
