Cal bred optional $16k runners go down the hill. No. 7 Kristi’s Copilot gets a big turn back in distance and has run good on this course in the past, he will be picking them up and laying them down crossing the dirt. No. 5 Croissant comes off a nice 3rd on this course last out. 7-5

Race 2

$20k maidens travel 7 furlongs on the dirt. No. 2 Blaze of Glory gets the ultimate drop in class moving from straight maiden races to this $20k maiden claimer and he gets the bug boy Asa up for papa Mandella off a big last work. No. 7 Rak City drops from $50k maiden races and gets off the grass. 2***-7

Race 3

2yo maidens travel five furlongs. Trainer O’Neill has owned these 2yo races of late and he sends out first time starter No. 2 Mayan Warrior off a big time last work that screams let me go! No. 3 Synthesis gets his second start for team Desormeaux and he was well bet in his first start in which he ran 3rd. No. 6 Sparky Ville will like the extra half a furlong in this his second start and Gary Stevens gets up for Bonde. O’Neill also sends out first time starter No. 7 Parsimony for his main owner Reddam, he also has been working with a purpose and the paid $400k for this colt. 2-7-6-3

Race 4

This race we get maidens going a mile on the grass. No. 4 Soltero went 1-1/8 on the grass last out and was a solid 3rd, he looks ready in this spot, and the winner of that race won next out. No. 6 Cajun Treasure exits the same race, he was second. No. 7 Kazan looks live off the layoff for Simon Callaghan.

Race 5

Starter allowance fillies and mares go a mile on the main. No. 4 Broome blasted home in her first try going long when breaking her maiden last out, she can beat winners. No. 7 Mongolian Humor looked good breaking her maiden going 1-1/8 on the grass and she did run ok on the dirt in her previous race.

Race 6

$50k maidens go a mile on the grass, No. 3 Tequila Blanco gets back on the grass where he missed by a head one race back. No. 4 Friendly Outthedor drops in from straight maiden races and will be tough in this spot. No. 12 Dignitaire also could wake up on the drop in. 3-4-12

Race 7

Maidens go 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 There and Back is a $400k Baffert first timer who has been working a hole in the wind. No. 3 He’s Stylish comes off the layoff for D’Amato, he was only 3/1 vs. McKinzie last year in his debut race, bet him to cash. 3***-1

Race 8

THE $200K GRADE II HONEYMOON AT 1-1/8 ON THE GRASS FOR 3YO FILLIES

No. 6 Miss Sienna is off the plane from France, she lands a top jock for a top outfit, all systems look to be a go, we will take a shot and single her in the picks. 6

Race 9

Optional $40k runners go seven furlongs. No. 1 Talent Scout broke his maiden at first asking last year for Baffert and went on the shelf, the race was a key race and he should come back faster as a 3yo. No. 2 Kidmon comes off a good second at this level going 5-1/2 furlongs, he will like the longer trip and the one who beat him came back to win next out. No. 3 McKale is the stablemate of the Talent Scout and will be odds on in here off his last race in the Grade 3 La Brea. 3-2-1

Race 10

$12,500 fillies and mares 4yo and up go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 7 Tenthousandreasons looks perfectly spotted off her maiden win, she will get a nice stalking trip behind all the early speed. No. 9 Myrcella will like the move to this distance after a good second going 6-1/2 furlongs at this level last out. 7-9

Race 11

Optional $40k runners go a mile on the grass. No. 1 Mackie’s Water has been facing stronger and the move to this level and distance could payoff. No. 5 Epical won in his only start on the grass and he gets Kent on today off a nice last work. No. 6 Conquest Typhoon is in top form and gets his first start off the $40k claim and Gary Stevens hangs around for the ride. 5-6-1
