$32k claimers go down the hill. No. 5 Incensed drops into a live spot as does No. 6 Moonlight Drive second off the layoff for Jacobson. No. 7 Excitations takes a big drop and gets his first try on the grass. 5-6-7

Race 4

$32k fillies and mares go seven furlongs. No. 3 Wishful will be legged up for this after going down the hill in her last two starts. No. 6 Avail will go better today on a dry track and she has a big last work. 3-6

Race 5

We get a little $25k handicap race at a mile on the grass. No. 1 Tough It Out is in tip-top form and is coming off of back-to-back wins. No. 8 My Man Chuckles exits the same race and ran a solid second, the hard-trying Franco Geovanni will ride today for Baltas as Prat who was on him moves to No. 9 Any Questions. 1-8-9

Race 6

We get another little handicap race this one for $12,500 runners going five furlongs. No. 6 Junior Gilliam has been claimed three straight times and now becomes claim proof for Jacobson, he will find a very fast early pace and mow them down in the lane. 6**

Race 7

Optional $40k runners go a mile on the main. No. 1 Ike Walker is a Peter Miller re-claim coming off a near miss last out at this level. No. 2 Kona Coast has won back-to-back races both odds-on. No. 5 Swayze looks ready for his best in this his 3rd off the layoff and Prat getting on. No. 6 Explorer went wire-to-wire in his debut race for Baffert/Mike Smith. 1-2-5-6

Race 8

Maidens go down the hill. No. 5 Camby will love the move to the grass and his last work says he is ready. No. 6 I Am the Danger and No. 8 Paddock Pick both ran good on this course last out. 5-6-8

Race 9

$30k maiden 3yo go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Senditlikechilly drops from a straight maiden race and will go much better in this spot as does No. 8 Brighton Boy, after those two anyone can win this, don’t take a short price. 3-8 ALL?

Race 10

Calif. bred optional $16k runners go a mile on the grass. No. 4 Six Point Rack had a troubled last trip, he gets back to a mile on the grass where he just missed at one race back and we like Bejarano getting on today. No. 5 Cool Green is a great fit at this level as is No. 7 Raven Creek. 4-5-7

Race 11


No. 4 American Anthem is back from Churchill Downs where he won a nice little prep for this, his last work was a doozy… No. 8 Dabster gets his second off the layoff and is the stablemate of American Anthem. 4-8

Race 12

Maiden $50k fillies and mares go a mile on the grass. No. 6 Temple Princess comes off a nice second last out at this level and distance, we think she gets the job done today in her second try off the drop. 6**
