Maiden 2yo go a mile on the grass, this is one doozy of a way to start the pick five, we really need to hit the all button, on breeding No. 7 Oracle of Omaha should handle the trip and the grass and gets in with the light weight. No. 6 Savagery is his stablemate and gets the good turf jock Prat. 7-6 (all).

Race 2

$20k maidens go 6-1/2 furlongs on the dirt. No. 6 Captain N. Barron has at least been competitive. No. 2 Thefourfortyfourth is a live first-time starter. 6-2

Race 3

Optional $40k runners go down the hill. No. 5 Allaboutmike is the speed and owns two wins on this course. No. 7 Tina’s Exchange looks set off that last big-time work with Tyler Baze getting on today. Prat gets back on No. 8 Radio Silence for Baltas on the turnback in distance. 7-5-8

Race 4

Maidens go 5-1/2 furlongs, Baffert sends out the $190k No. 2 Deputy Bernardini for his first start, his works say ready as Baffert put in his back-to-back five-furlong work pattern. No. 3 Lord Guinness ran against some good ones last year and may go better as a 3yo. No. 6 Flagstaff ran a good second in his one race. 2**-3-6

Race 5

$75k maiden fillies and mares go down the hill. No. 2 Storming Lady drops and will like the grass, she will show all of her early speed. No. 6 Ladybug has really burned some cash with her lack of win spirit but is a must use in the back in the exotics. No. 10 Strengthinnumbers gets a great post for this her second start and second on this course after a good third last out, she is our key runner here. 10***-6-2

Race 6

Fillies and mares go five furlongs on this little $12,500 handicap race. No. 7 Princess Ashlyn just does sneak in and looks like a short price winner. No. 8 Be a Lady looks the main danger. 7-8

Race 7

Here we get more fillies and mares this time running a mile on the grass in a $25k handicap race. No. 1 Miss Boom Boom is in good form, she gets her third start off the Baltas claim and Kent gets on. No. 6 Vasilika is looking for her fourth straight win and is the filly to beat. No. 8 Quebec is the stablemate of Miss Boom Boom and the price play. 6-1-8

Race 8

Calif. bred maiden fillies and mares go 6-1/2 furlongs on the main. No. 2 CHASIN LUCAS exits our HTW list as a $$$ play off her near win last out when opening up two lengths down the lane but getting caught late, Tyler gets on today. No. 5 Thalia gets her second start and gets off the grass, her last work says she is on go. 2-5

Race 9

THE $100K GRADE 3 WILSHIRE AT A MILE ON THE GRASS FOR FILLIES AND MARES

No. 1 Beau Recall comes off a big try in the Grade 1 Gamely last out. No. 2 Sassy Little Lila gets Mike Smith and will be the speed. No. 5 Sophie P won the Grade 1 Gamely at 14/1 by a nostril. 1-2-5

Race 10

Optional $62,500 runners go six furlongs. No. 6 Adens Dream looks the speed of the speed for Sadler/Gary Stevens. No. 4 So Conflated is the closer. 6-4

Race 11

The day and meet ends with optional $62,500 runners going 1-1/4 on the grass. No. 2 Unapologetic just won going 1-1/2 on the grass and has won going 1-3/8 on the grass. No. 6 Oscar Dominguez can run all day and has won two times at this distance. No. 8 Acker gets Prat and has run right behind the top two in this last two starts. 2-6-8
