SANTA ANITA
Race 1
$35k claimers 4yo and up who have never won 3 races go a mile on the grass, there should be a good pace in here with No. 3 Incredible Luck and No. 5 Invasion Looming. Of the two we think Invasion Looming has the best shot at hanging on with the good turf rider Brice Blanc riding. After him No. 8 Encumbered has been looking for a spot on the big drop down and No. 1 Van Cortlandt could wake up getting back on the grass. 5-1-8
Race 2
$50k maiden 3yo fillies go a mile on the dirt. No. 1 Lily Con drops from a straight maiden debut at Del Mar and gets the stretch out and Joel Rosario up for Richard Baltas. No. 4 Queen of the Track is the speed and will look to take them wire-to-wire. 1-4
Race 3
$50k maidens 4yo and up travel 1-1/8 on the grass. No. 3 Aussie Fox looks the one to beat off his last two turf routes at Del Mar. No. 5 Reckless Gravity gets a needed class drop in this his 9th start. Rafael Bejarano gets up today for Paddy Gallagher. No. 6 Mo Bob exits the same last race as Aussie Fox and his early speed will hold better here. No. 7 Falcone also exits that race. 3-5-6-7
KEY PLAY
.50 cent tri box 3-5-6-7 cost $12.00
Race 4
$25k claimers 4yo and up who have never won 2 races. No. 2 Cayate gets a big jock switch to Prat who take a rare ride for Kristin Mulhall. No. 6 Spa Shackalacka will show all of his early speed on the drop. No. 8 Kidmon drops and gets off the grass, his best races have come here. 8*-2-6
Race 5
3yo maidens go down the hill. No. 1 Stubbins is the speed on the rail getting his first try on the grass, we like Flavien Prat sticking. No. 4 Volubile ran a big second in his one start here back in October going down the hill to finish a close 3rd and the second place runner won next out. No. 8 Mutineer has the looks of a runner who will take to this course. Rosario opts for the first time Philip D’Amato runner No. 11 Kichiro.
4**-1-8-11
Race 6
Starter allowance runners go 6-1/2 furlongs on the dirt. No. 4 Zatter was last seen in the Grade I Front Runner her last year vs. Bolt d’Oro. No. 6 Coil Me Home and No. 7 Spokane Eagle both exit our HTW list.

Race 7
THE $200K GRADE II SAN GABRIEL AT 1-1/8 ON THE GRASS
No. 1 Liam the Charmer loves this track with four wins and has been working like he is ready to run a big race. No. 7 Next Shares was last seen running in the BC Mile, he will appreciate the easier company today.
1-7
Race 8
Allowance runners non winners of two go 1-1/16 on the main. No. 3 Extrordinary Jerry ran big last out and has a good work since. We think his style will play perfect in this race and we will take our shot and single in the late pick four. 3**
WIN AND PLACE 3
Race 9
THE $100K GRADE III SHAM AT A MILE ON THE MAIN FOR 3YO
We start the road to the Kentucky Derby with the Sham. All we can say is Bob Baffert is here sending out No. 5 Coliseum off a huge win first out at .50 cents on the dollar and No. 7 Much Better who never got untracked in the Grade I BC Juvenile when in tight and bumped hard. Peter Miller also sends out two top prospects in No. 2 Gray Magician and the speedy No. 3 Savagery. 2-3-5-7
Race 10
$20k maidens 4yo and up travel a mile on the dirt, this race is loaded with early speed. We will look for someone to come off the hot pace and run them all down late, No. 5 Paul’s Diva made a nice late run going 7 furlongs at Del Mar last out to finish second, he will be our late runner. No. 4 Sergio drops from straight maiden race and gets blinkers on as he gets his first start as a gelding. 4-5
