Cal bred $50k maiden 3yo fillies go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Sierra Sunrise ran a good 3rd at this level last out and has come back with a big work. No. 7 Derby Luck has good early speed and will be tough on the drop if speed is holding. 1-7

Race 3

$20k claimers fillies and mares 4yo and up go a flat mile. No. 1 Sweet Treat is the speed on the rail with Heriberto Figueroa riding. No. 4 Mistressofthenight gets a major rider upgrade on the big move up in class. No. 6 Princess Leia is on a win every other race pattern and this is her win race. 1-4-6

Race 4

No. 2 Twirling Tiger is on a win every other race pattern and this is his win race second off the claim. No. 5 Stringent is in top form for this level and gets Rafael Bejarano. No. 6 Papa Turf gets his first start off the Brian Koriner claim. 5**-2-6

Race 5

3yo maidens go a mile on the grass, possibly. No. 2 Mystical Moon has big early speed and has finished 3rd in both of his turf routes. No. 4 Shining Through finished second in front of Mystical Moon last out at even money. No. 6 Mobou finished second last out on the Del Mar grass when a half length in front of Mystical Moon. If this is moved to the dirt it will be a four or five horse field. 2-4-6

Race 6

Joel Rosario jumped up on No. 1 Facts Matter last out for Jerry Hollendorfer and won for fun. No. 2 Mo Soul, No. 3 Iron Alex and No. 5 Neighborhood Bully all take big class drops. 1-2-3-5

Race 7

3yo maidens go six furlongs. Paco Lopez is in town and gets up on the speedy second time Peter Miller runner No. 2 Jumpin Thru Hoops. No. 6 Scalper exits our HTW list, he gets his second start for Bob Baffert who also sends out the $750k purchase first time starter No. 7 Dressman by Union Rags, he could be any kind. 



Race 8

Another downhill turf race, so we hope the rain is gone. No. 4 Tigerbeach just ran a big second going a mile on the grass here on Jan 1st, he will like this course. No. 5 Jimmy Chila exits the same race and was a good 4th, he owns a win going down the hill. No. 7 More Honor is a two time winner going down the hill from three starts. No. 10 Lauren’s Ladd also is a two time winner on this course, he gets a good post and Prat up. 4-5-7-10

Race 9


No. 6 Awesome Anywhere has won 4 of 5 starts here with a second. No. 7 Roy H is the one to beat and the runner that Paco came in to ride for Peter Miller. He comes off of back to back Grade I wins.


Race 10

$50k maiden fillies 4yo and up are set to go down the hill. Rosario gets on the shipper No. 1 Daybreak for Jack Carava. No. 8 Dearborn just missed on this course one race back. No. 10 Strengthinnumbers has good enough races over this course to win this and he she gets her 3rd start off the layoff. 10**-8-1
