SANTA ANITA

Race 1

If this stays on the downhill turf course No. 10 Gallantlystreaming looks the main runner for John Sadler. No. 2 Gadot is in from Florida for Vladimir Cerin and No. 8 Persephone gets Drayden Van Dyke on the drop and first on the grass, look for the big wake up. 10-8-2

Race 2

No. 4 Hollywood Square takes the huge class drop for team Doug O’Neill as they wave the white flag. No. 5 Sunset Seven owns a big-time last work for this level, he drops and gets off the grass. No. 2 Implicitly gets back on his preferred surface. 4-5-2

Race 3

No. 1 Confidentially gets back on the grass after getting stuck on a sloppy track last out. He just missed one back at this level and turf distance when Joel Rosario was on her and he gets back on today. No. 3 Decorating exits the same race. 1-3

Race 4

No. 4 Galilean is 2/5 on the morning line and looks it. No. 3 Irish Heatwave looks to have the best shot at the upset. 4-3

Race 5

No. 8 Lakerball gets Rafael Bejarano up for O’Neil and we like this move. No. 9 Apache Princess looks to win her fourth straight race. 8-9

Race 6

No. 3 Oh Man drops into a very live spot for team Richard Baltas. No. 7 Ayacara also drops. No. 9 Lighthouse Point is perfectly spotted off the maiden win. 3-7-9

Race 7

If this stays on the downhill turf course No. 2 Travieza looks good on the turnback and she has hit the board in 7 of 8 on this course. No. 4 Oleksandra is a perfect 2 for 2 down the hill. No. 7 Kelly’s Humor is the price play turf or dirt as she gets back to a sprint and the blinkers go on. No. 5 Amuse is the main player on the dirt. 2-4- turf, 7 turf or dirt, 5 main track only.

Race 8

No. 9 Out Of Control is a first-time starter for David Hofmans who is sending out nothing but live runners at the meet, her works say she can flat out run. No. 4 Floss N Dab takes her first start for Peter Miller.

Key Play

Race 9

This is set to go a mile on the grass. No. 3 Sellwood is in tip-top form grass on an off track. No. 6 North County Guy has gotten real good for Baltas and can run on either surface. No. 9 Jungle Warfare will like the longer distance if this remains on the grass, but he won at a mile on an off track, we like all three turf or off track. 3-6-9

Key play
