Santa Anita

Race 1

There is rain in the forecast and this is set to be run down the hill and we get only six runners before scratches so look out. No. 3 Sir Eddie can go turf or main and is the key runner. No. 2 Access Granted is a first timer for Philip D’Amato who also sends out No. 6 Dubnation who has hit the board in all three of his starts. 3-6-2

Race 2

We get just five 3yo entered in this $75k maiden claimer and all we can say is hit the all button or use No. 1 Platinum Nights who was second at this level on race back. 1-ALL

Race 3

No. 4 Fracas drops to a level that could wake her up as she also gets back on dirt. No. 7 Come On Kat takes a huge class drop and will look to take this girl wire-to-wire. 4-7

Race 4

Another set to go down the hill. No. 2 Acclimate will sit right off all the speed and make a run down the lane. No. 7 Passionate Reward and No. 8 Rampus Cat look the main two grass or the main. 7**-8**-2

Race 5

This is one wide open $30k maiden claimer for 3yo. No. 3 Jack’s a Diva is in from Tampa for William Morey, he has speed. No. 4 Gran Martillo drops and also has some good early foot. No. 5 Lu Cat gets the new bug boy Jorge Velez and the rumor is that he can flat out ride we will find out quickly. 3-4-5

Race 6

Down the hill we go again, we hope, in this straight maiden race for 3yo. No. 6 Mountain Spirit exits a key race in which the top two finishers came back to win next out, he was a close 3rd. No. 7 Volubile also exits the race, he was sent off the favorite he is also bred to like off going. 6-7

KEY PLAY

EXACTA BOX 6-7 AND WIN AND PLACE 7

Race 7

No. 3 Market Sentiment drops to an alltime low, he will be tough in this spot if he still has four legs. No. 7 Boy Howdy gets the move up first off the claim but Joel Rosario sticks. 3-7

Race 8

THE $200K GRADE II BUENA VISTA FOR FILLIES AND MARE AT A MILE ON THE GRASS

No. 8 Elysea’s World comes in off the layoff for team Richard Baltas as she moves from the Chad Brown barn. The last time she was here she finished second in the Bobby Frankel. No. 9 Vasilika has won 8 of 9 races here with a second, bet her to cash. 9**-8

Race 9

No. 5 Bedeviled moves up off a 4th place finish last out. Interesting that Rosario gets on for Mark Glatt on the move up. No. 7 Pioneerof the West is in tip top form and exits the same race as Bedeviled . 5-7

Race 10

We get $40k optional fillies and mares 4yo and up traveling 1-1/8 on the grass. No. 7 Super Patriot is Bob Baffert’s turf runner who has been reeling in a lot of purse money. She gets Drayden Van Dyke back on today and the last three wins this filly had were all when Van Dyke rode her. No. 9 Mirth gets Flavien Prat in what looks like the money run. 7**-9**
