No. 1 Roses and Candy is the speed on the rail and will try to get hall of fame trainer Ronald McAnally a rare win. No. 3 Lil Respect gets her first start off the $50k John Sadler claim, she gets a big break in the weights with the bug boy Jorge Velez getting a good shot for a top trainer. No. 10 Meso is the stablemate of Lil Respect. 1-3-10

No. 2 Concur is back in town after trying the synthetic surface at the Gate which he hated. No. 4 Surfside Sunset comes off the layoff for Robert Hess and Kent Desormeaux gets back on. No. 8 Kidmon just lost by a nose last out at this level. 8**-2-4

Race 3

This was scheduled to go down the hill but all the hillside turf races have been put on hold so it will either go on the main or a mile on the grass, either way No. 6 Our Romance ran big in her one start sprinting on the dirt and was well bet that day, she will be our single. 6**

We get only five runners in this $80k optional claimer for 3yo and we will single No. 3 Moonoverthebayou off a big win last out at the Gate, we like Kent D up for his old buddy Hess. 3**

Race 8

No. 2 Mo Bob is the key runner in this mile turf race, he came from last to first to win last out after showing early speed in his previous races. No. 3 Vangilder drops into an action spot. No. 5 Highland Bowl is in from back East for Tom Proctor and we love Drayden Van Dyke up for this trainer. 2**-3-5
