No. 2 Miss Flawless has been routing on the grass and now turnsback to a five furlong grass sprint. She will be flying late with Flavien Prat getting on for Peter Miller. No. 9 Portal Creek has big early speed and will take to the grass. She comes off a big win. 2-9

Race 2

2yo maidens go 4 ½ furlongs. No. 2 Pas de Panique exits our HTW list off a nice second first out. No. 4 Thanks Mr. Eidson also exits our HTW list off a good second last out. Drayden Van Dyke who was on Pas de Panique opts for the Bob Baffert runner No. 5 We’re Still Here. He owns some big time works for his debut race and he cost 270k. 2-4-5

We only get five runners entered for the $75k Siren Lure at five furlongs on the grass. No. 1 Eddie Haskell is a five furlong grass specialist who has hit the board in his last nine starts. No. 3 What’sontheagenda exits the same last race as Eddie. 1-3

2yo maiden fillies go 4 ½ furlongs. No. 1 Go Big Blue Nation gets a major rider upgrade to Mike Smith. No. 3 A Thousand Dreams exits the same last race finishing right behind Big Blue. No. 8 Golden Star Lady also ran against Big Blue and she rounds out the exacta box. 1-3-8

THE $100K GRADE 3 AMERICAN STAKES AT A MILE ON THE GRASS

No. 6 RIVER BOYNE comes off  a big second in the Grade 1 Shoemaker Mile. He finds a field loaded with early speed and will get the perfect trip under top grass rider Kent Desormeaux. He has also won 6 of his 9 starts on the grass course. 6****

THE $200K MELAIR FOR CAL BRED 3YO FILLIES AT 1 1/16 ON THE DIRT

No. 1 Sneaking Out has never run a bad race in her six starts with 3 wins and 3 seconds. No. 2 Don’t Sell exits our HTW list off a very nice win sprinting on the grass. This will be her first try going long. 1**-2

Race 7

Maidens go 6 ½ furlongs. No. 3 Ghost Street has a good last work and is out of the dam Heat Street who has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters. No. 4 Morning Snow will be odds on in here off his second last out when bet to 6/5 first out of the box for Baffert. 4****-3

Race 8

THE $100K SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO AT 1 ¾ ON THE GRASS

No. 4 Acclimate looks the speed. He could put this group to sleep on the front end and go wire to wire but may need to deal with No. 6 Causeforcommotion who also has some early speed. He is on a win every other race pattern and this is his win race. No. 7 Red King can run all day and looks set for his best off his good effort in the Grade 3 All American. 6-4-7

Race 9

No. 1 Bowl of Soul looked good winning first out of the box and her last work was a pip. No. 7 Der Lu is the stablemate of the Bowl of Soul. She was last seen running in the Grade 1 Chandelier last year, if she is ready she wins. 1-7

Race 10

The last race and the last race of this troubled meet we get maiden fillies and mares traveling a mile on the grass. No. 1 Miss Bigly will get a sweet rail trip. She finished a close 4th last out behind No. 8 Ameerah B and No. 13 Pretty Point who is stuck on the also list. Mike Smith sticks around to ride No. 5 Zest for his buddy John Shirreffs, look for a big effort on this big jockey change. 1**-5-8-13
