No. 4 Oregon gets his second start after running a better than looked effort last out last year, he has been searching for a spot. 2**-4

Race 2

20k maiden 4yo and up fillies and mares go five furlongs, you sure were not at Los Alamitos? No. 2 Avaudrey has some early speed and gets Pedroza gunning today. No. 6 Harbored Affair will be odds on with this crew on the drop and everyone’s single in the pick five. 6***-2

Race 3

30k 3yo maiden claimers go 5-1/2 furlongs, you sure were not at Los Alamitos? No. 4 Tiz Indy drops and will show all of his early speed today vs. some very slow runners. No. 5 Marchtothemusic was odds on in his last start at this level and finished second, he will be odds on again. No. 8 My Man Chuckles ran his best race last out when dropped to this level and looks the main danger to Marchtothemusic. No. 8 High Class Taste showed good early speed last out when dropped to this level when finishing behind Chuckles. No. 9 Hoppitty is the only first-timer in the group and comes off a nice bullet work. 5***-8*/4-9

Race 4

Starter allowance runners go a mile on the grass. No. 3 Taima the Hawk has finished second in three straight turf races at this level, Kent and Keith D hook up with No. 5 Moonman off the big maiden win, we can never dismiss these two. No. 6 Fishel just missed in his last two starts on the grass going long at this level. No. 1 El Super is the speed on the rail and if can shake loose look out! 3-6-5-1

Race 5

3yo maidens go a mile on the dirt. No. 1 Psychedelicat comes off a good try going a mile on the grass. No. 3 Divisor gets the stretchout in this his second start for D’Amato. No. 4 Colonist exits our HTW list and exits the same race as Divisor, he has a big last work and gets Nakatani today and he is also the barnmate of Psychedelicat. 1-3-4

30k 3yo maidens go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Take City by Storm looks the one to beat on the drop back to this level and getting off the grass. No. 5 Blow My Mind comes off the layoff and gets a drop in class. No. 6 Crafty Cowboy was well bet in his one start, he showed some good early speed, he drops and has a nice last work. 3-5-6

Race 7

They go down the hill in this race. No. 5 Tiz a Billy has two wins and a second down the hill and has a bullet last work. No. 6 Forest Chatter gets some class relief and Mike Smith back, he has won 5 of 8 down the hill. Peter Miller puts his go to jockey on No. 9 Hollywood Don who gets his second try down the hill, look for better. 5-6-9

Race 8

THE $100K GRADE III TOKYO CITY CUP AT 1-1/2

No. 4 Irish Surf won at this dirt distance at Del Mar and ran second here on the dirt going 1-3/4 on the dirt, he is a player here. No. 5 Big John B is a perfect 2 for 2 at this dirt distance and 1 for 1 here at the Great Race place. 4-5

Race 8

3yo fillies go down the hill to end the day. No. 2 Mischievous Champ comes off a big maiden score and ran good on the Del Mar grass in her one start last year. No. 3 Dreamy Gal is in from Ireland and lands in the barn of D’Amato, she looks sneaky. No. 4 Yuvetsi has run down the hill two times with a win and a close second. No. 7 Kencho just broke her maiden down the hill and fits here. No. 8 Storm the Hill exits our HTW list off a great win first on the West Coast after shipping in from Florida. 2-3-4-7-8
