Just another five horse race to start the day and we get $8k claimers going 1-1/16. No. 4 Kiss Limit drops trying to cash for D’Amato and gets the bug boy Austin Solis as he takes 7 pounds off from his last start. No. 5 Press Baron comes in from the Gate in top form. 4-5
Race 2
Only six, yes six $40k maidens go a flat mile and that is before scratches. No. 1 Mucho Chrome drops from straight maiden races and is the speed on the stretchout. No. 2 Tiz No Bluff just missed with winners last out and now is back with maiden claimers. No. 6 Make It a Triple rounds out the competition as he also stretches out and he gets blinkers on and a fast last work. 1-2-6
Race 3
Maiden fillies and mares go 1-1/16 and we get a field of six again before scratches. No. 1 Majestic Quality was last seen running against Paradise Woods and Able Tasman, she will be hard to beat albeit at odds on. No. 5 Utana has finished second in both of her starts and now will go long. 1-5
Race 4
We get an overflow field of seven runners in this six furlong sprint for allowance fillies and mares. No. 1 Adios Cali comes off a nice last win and gets her first start off the $40k Knapp claim and Bejarano gets the call. No. 4 Candy Ruler comes off a big maiden score when bet down to .90 cents on the dollar, she owns a big last work. 1-4
Race 5
$30k maiden 3yo fillies go six furlongs and we get a field of eight to finish off the pick five. No. 1 Powder drops from a straight maiden race, she has a big last work. No. 2 Tenthousandreasons showed some good early speed in her one start and gets Prat this time around. 1-2
Race 6
Optional $75k claiming 3yo fillies go 1-1/8 on the grass. No. 1 Looking At Thelake exits our HTW list off a huge win first on the West Coast after shipping in from Gulfstream Park, she gets her first start off the 50k John Sadler claim, trainer Paddy Gallagher sends out the uncoupled entry of No. 3 La Force and No. 8 Tiburtina, both gets class relief after meeting better last out. 1-3-8
Race 7
$100k maiden 3yo fillies go 5-1/2 furlongs and we doubt very much that anyone will put up a $100k for any of these fillies. No. 3 Moon Kitty gets back on the dirt after going down the hill last time out and she gets the bug boy Roman riding for Peter Miller. No. 4 Southern Mischief gets a turn back in distance by Baffert after going a mile last out. No. 8 Settle Down Eileen just missed last out when exiting our HTW list, Gary Stevens gets back on today. 3-4-8
Race 8
Optional $62,500 runners go a flat mile. No. 3 Candy Promises is in tip top form as he has finished first or second in his last seven starts. No. 4 Stringent gets off the grass and will be right there. Hollendorfer sends out the uncoupled entry of No. 6 Colonist off back-to-back wins and No. 7 Madiba with Prat. 3-4-6-7
Race 9
THE $125K FRAN’S VALENTINE AT A MILE ON THE GRASS
A ton of early speed signed on here so we will go looking for one of these girls to come running late to get the money. No. 3 Shehastheritestuff will be making a big late run and she is in top form. No. 7 Moonless Sky also will be coming late as will No. 8 Cheekaboo, we will use all three. 3-7-8
