Race 1

First of all, always keep an eye out for the weather as it can change in a minute at Saratoga. In this race we get $14k claimers going 1-3/16 on the main. In a wide open race we will take a shot with No. 6 Tiz No Bluff who has been working here at Saratoga since May 26th. Trainer Michelle Nevin is having a good year especially win percentage wise and we love Luis Saez sticking with this 7yo gelding off his big win at Belmont last out. He will look to get the jump on them from the bell. 6

Race 2

Maidens go sprinting 5-1/2 furlongs on the grass. No. 2 Sayyaaf is the probably favorite as he has been in his last two starts. He is trained by Chad Brown and has finished second in his last two starts going 7 furlongs on the grass. This distance should get him home on top albeit at a short price. No. 12 Declined just missed at this turf distance last out at Churchill Downs and he gets Jose Ortiz up today. If the race comes off the grass we will single No. 10 Ahead of Plan. 2-12 (10 if off the grass).

Race 3

Allowance runners travel 1-1/8 on the mian for a $92k purse. No. 4 Potomac will be on or near the lead and is one for one here at Saratoga. He is tip top form. No. 6 Growth Engine gets a move up in class by Chad Brown but has done little wrong in his three starts. No. 7 The Rock Says owns a nice last work over the track and has hit the board in all four of his starts at three different tracks. 7-4-6

Race 4

$35k claimers travel a mile on the grass. No. 5 Gosilently is the speed, he has run here three times and has hit the board in all three. No. 10 Bootlegger has won two times in his 22 race career and both wins have come at Saratoga. His last two works have been here and he looks set for a big effort. No. 11 Indigo Yankee is the play if it comes off the grass. 10**-5 ( 11 if off the grass).

Race 5

NY bred 2yo fillies go 5-1/2 furlongs. Wesley Ward who owns these 2yo maiden races, sends out No. 2 Love Me Tomorrow off a bullet last work here at Saratoga. No. 4 Helen by Night gets Javier Castellano up for Rudy Rodriquez. This filly has been working here since May, she is very live. No. 9 Funfetti gets Jose Ortiz up for Engelhart, this filly owns a big last work here. 2-4-9.

Race 6

NY bred allowance runners go 5-1/2 furlongs on the grass. No. 7 Magical Tale finds a better spot after facing some tough NY breds last out in a $150k race. No. 9 Veterans Beach also exits the race. If this comes of the grass we will be using No. 6 New York Hero and No. 16 Red Zinger. 7-9 ( 6-16 if off the grass).

Race 7

NY bred $40k optional fillies and mares travel 1-1/8 on the grass. In what is a wide open race we will need to go four deep using No. 4 Giant Zinger the speed and she is one for one here at Saratoga. No. 5 War Canoe a price play off a nice work here on the 5th. No. 10 Wegetsdamunnys who just missed here last year. He gets Joel Rosario up for Christophe Clement in her 3rd start for this barn. Her last work was here and it was very zippy, she is our key runner. No. 11 Classic Lady has been stabled and working here since May 3rd, she is a must use. If this comes off the grass we will be using No. 13 Turn and Bern. 10**-4-5-11 ( 13 if it comes off the grass).

Race 8

This race is just loaded with front speed. No. 9 Kiss the Girl was odds on first out for Todd Pletcher. She will need to take back off the hot pace and launch at the top of the lane. No. 2 Integral is the stablemate of Kiss the Girl, she also won at odds on first out and she will insure a fast early pace. No. 7 Buxom Beast is a maiden who draws Rosario, she owns a big last work here and her connections are not stupid, she is a must use. No. 8 Aurelia Garland could be this good for Wesley Ward. 9-2-7-8

Race 9

No. 1 Abyssinaian is just flat fast and J R Velazquez will be blasting her from the rail as this filly looks to take down the boys. No. 6 Call Paul has won 5 of 9 starts but all were on the dirt. 6-1

Race 10

$40k maiden fillies and mares travel 1-1/16 on the grass. Rain is on the agenda for late in the day so keep an eye on this race if it stays on the grass. No. 4 Claddagh’s Run looks like a good fit in here at a fair price. No. 5 Darling of the Spa is well named as she makes her first start for the Chad Brown barn and gets Javier Castellano in the irons. She has been working here since May. No. 6 Bizness Beauty exits the same last race as Claddagh’s Run. No. 8 Encore Kitten just missed last out at Churchill Downs when sent off the favorite, her last work here on the 3rd was nothing to write home about and she will be overbet with Irad Ortiz Jr. riding. No. 9 To a Friend drops in from straight maiden races, she gets blinkers on and will have a pace advantage. No. 10 LIDO KEY has back to back 7 furlong works here and both were on the grass. She is very sneaky in here with Chris Landeros riding. We will be betting our money on here at a price. If this comes off the grass we will use No. 13 Countenance. 10***5**/4-6-8 ( 13 if off the grass).
