It’s Week 9 of the NFL season and this week’s stop on my 2019 Las Vegas Sports Bar World Tour brought me to Scenic Brewing Company located at 8410 W. Desert Inn Road.
If you like craft beer, you are going to love it here. As the name would indicate, they brew their own beers. My buddy is a real beer snob (that’s actually a compliment) and he loves the beer choices here.
The beer menu has 17 choices on it with alcohol levels from 4 percent to a 10.6 percent Belgium dark ale. They even brew their own root beer if you are not feeling like a good beer.
The bartenders always hook you up with some of their homemade potato chips to munch on with a cold beer. Some of the popular beers according to my beer aficionado friend is the Vegas Sipper IPA which checks in at 7.2 percent alcohol level. They also have a Hard Cider that’s imported from Vermont.
The bar area has 10 flat screen TVs, so no matter where you sit you will have a direct view of at least five games at once. When the Golden Knights play, the bar is filled with VGK fans so get their early if you want a seat at the bar.
Now that we have a cold beverage in hand and games on the TVs. it time to order some food.
Scenic Brewing Company not only has a great selection of typical bar food items, they also have a full menu of entrée selections as well. They have a nice Happy Hour with food and drink specials. The wings are good and they have a Giant Bavarian Pretzel. They also have $7 sliders and you can choose between Meatball, Vegas Hot Chicken and Burger sliders. On Mondays, they have a Burger & Beer special for $9.99.
One of my favorite items on the regular menu is the Scenic Viennese Schnitzel. It’s a hand breaded pork tenderloin served with potato salad and asparagus. The Chicken Parmesan and Shrimp Scampi Pasta are both good choices as well. For steak lovers, they have a 16-oz. Bone-In Ribeye for $29.95.
Save room for dessert as the Chocolate Lava Cake served warm with vanilla ice cream is so good. Or if you feel like drinking your dessert, check out one of their dessert beers like their CocoaNut Brown Ale. They call it dessert in a glass as the beer has flavors of coffee, toffee and caramel.
The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I give Scenic Brewing Company a rating of 3.50 Forks
