If the first full week of the NFL preseason is any indication, we will be looking at one heck of an exciting and competitive football season. Let’s take a look at this week’s games.

PRESEASON WEEK 2

Thursday, Aug. 19

Colts at Bills: Indianapolis is back in just four days and now must take a little trip to Canada, you will see little or no Peyton Manning and the fans will be rooting for their cross town neighbor Buffalo. The Bills have won one game in their last 11 preseason contests but this is a great spot to get a win. BILLS

Patriots at Falcons: The Pats looked good in win over the Saints as did the Falcons in their win over the Chiefs. Atlanta is 7-2 ATS in their last nine preseason games. FALCONS

Friday, Aug. 20

Eagles at Bengals: Quick return for Cincy who crushed Denver just five days ago and this will be their third game in just 12 days; but the Eagles have gone 0-5 ATS in their last five preseason games. BENGALS

Saturday, Aug. 21

Ravens at Redskins: New HC Mike Shanahan and new QB Donovan McNabb appear to be on a mission and we will follow along. REDSKINS

Steelers at Giants: The Giants are coming back in just five days off a high profile game in their new stadium vs. rival Jets. The Steelers unveiled their new steel curtain defense last week and all we can say is look out. STEELERS and UNDER

Dolphins at Jaguars: Tony Sparano’s Fish have gone 8-1 SU in their last nine preseason games and they are also 4-0 ATS as a visiting dog. DOLPHINS

Chiefs at Buccaneers: Tampa Bay could only muster a TD in rain soaked game with the Dolphins last week and KC could muster a TD and field goal in their loss to the Falcons. UNDER

Rams at Browns: Steve Spagnuolo and the Rams were a good bet last year when they were a dog in all four of their games but looked bad in last week’s game at home against the Vikes. Cleveland came to play when beating the Packers in a high scoring game in Green Bay. BROWNS

Texans at Saints: Texans have gone 8-1 ATS last nine times as a dog in preseason while the Who Dats have gone 1-4 ATS last five preseason games as the home chalk. TEXANS

Jets at Panthers: Jets back in just five days after big game against the Giants, while the Panthers have now gone 0-5 ATS in their last five preseason games. PASS

Raiders at Bears: The Bears have played their last 10 of 13 preseason games over the total. The Raiders looked good last week against the Cowboys and they have played over in four of their last five preseason games. RAIDERS and OVER

Cowboys at Chargers: This will be the Cow’s third preseason game and they showed absolutely nada in loss at home to the Raiders while the Chargers looked in good form in their win against the Bears. CHARGERS

Lions at Broncos: Not sure what to think of either of these two teams yet, we will sit this one out. PASS

Packers at Seahawks: You will need to bet this one early as the total can only climb. The Pack has now played nine of their last 10 preseason games over the total and there should be a lot of fireworks here. OVER

Sunday, Aug. 22

Vikings at 49ers: Childress and the Vikes have gone 7-2 ATS on the road in preseason and looked in midseason form in win over the Rams last week. Mike Singletary’s 49ers put points on the board at will in rousing 37-17 win over the Colts on Sunday. OVER

Monday, Aug. 23

Cardinals at Titans: Titans played good enough to win last week but came up short 18-20 but they did cover the point spread. TITANS
