Stanley Cup Final Game 2 Betting Preview
The Vegas Golden Knights got the 5-2 win in Game 1 on Saturday afternoon to go up 1-0 in the series.
Florida struck first with a shorthanded goal halfway through the opening period. After Nick Cousins was sent to the box for a roughing call on Vegas goaltender Adin Hill, Eric Staal scored a wraparound goal to give the Cats an early 1-0 lead.
Vegas responded with a Jonathan Marchessault wrister in the waning minutes of the first period. Marchessault’s 10th goal of the postseason evened up the scoreboard, 1-1.
