The Stanley Cup Finals continue with the Vegas Golden Knights on the road to take on the Florida Panthers in a crucial Game 3.

Vegas cruised to a 7-2 victory on Monday night to take a 2-0 series lead over Florida. Will the Panthers manage to claw their way back in on home ice? We’ll cover the Golden Knights vs. Panthers odds on moneyline, total, and puck line for tonight’s Game 3.

Odds for Game 3 of Panthers vs. Golden Knights Stanley Cup Final

The Vegas Golden Knights won as slight favorites in both of the series’ first two games. With the next two of the Stanley Cup Finals games to be played in South Florida, sportsbooks are listing the Panthers as moneyline favorites for Game 3.

The Golden Knights vs. Panthers Over/Under is currently listed at 6 total goals. The Over, set at 5.5 in the first two games, cashed in both with a total of 16 goals scored in two games.

Florida is currently -1.5 on the puck line with odds north of +200 at most books. As for the Golden Knights to cover the +1.5 as an underdog, bettors would have to risk between $200 and $300 to win just $100.

Stanley Cup Final Updated Series Price

The Vegas Golden Knights entered the Stanley Cup Finals as the betting favorite to win it all. With a 2-0 series lead over the Panthers, the Golden Knights’ odds to win the franchise’s first-ever Stanley Cup continues to climb.

DraftKings Sportsbook currently has the Golden Knights’ odds to win the Stanley Cup priced around -500.

As for the Florida Panthers odds, DraftKings lists them at +400 to pull off the comeback and win it all. Although difficult, there is hope for the Panthers’ faithful — five teams in NHL history have battled back from an 0-2 start to win the Stanley Cup. The feat was most recently completed by the Boston Bruins in 2011, who rebounded from a two-loss start to defeat the Vancouver Canucks in seven.

The Panthers’ chances get bleaker if they fail to pick up a win tonight. Only one team has ever rebounded from an 0-3 start to win the Stanley Cup Final: the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs.

Stanley Cup Final Game 3 Betting Preview

The Vegas Golden Knights opened the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Winnipeg Jets. After dropping the series opener, they won four straight to advance. The Golden Knights defeated the Edmonton Oilers, 4-2, in the second round.

Vegas got off to a 3-0 lead in the Western Conference Final before dropping two straight to the Dallas Stars. They ended the skid with a 6-0 win in Game 6 to win the series 4-2.

Jack Eichel (22 points) and Jonathan Marchessault (21 points) headline a dynamic Vegas offense that has given opposing defenses trouble all postseason. Adin Hill has manned the crease since starter Laurent Brossoit suffered a lower-body injury in the second round against the Edmonton Oilers. Hill has a postseason save percentage of .937.

Florida was heavy underdogs in their opening series against the President’s Trophy-winning Boston Bruins. The eighth-seeded Panthers battled back from a 3-1 hole to win the series in seven games.

Florida cruised through their next two opponents to reach the Stanley Cup Final, defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-1 and sweeping the Carolina Hurricanes to win the Eastern Conference.

Left-winger Matthew Tkachuk (22 points) has scored 10 postseason goals for the Florida offense. Sergei Bobrovsky has started most games in the net for the Panthers and has registered a .925 save percentage in 16 games. Although normally a top-tier goaltender, Bobrovsky struggled in Game 2. The veteran netminder was pulled after allowing four goals in less than 30 minutes of game time.

Stanley Cup Final Game 3 Prediction

The Florida Panthers Stanley Cup dreams are on the ropes and face a near must-win in tonight’s Game 3. Will home ice give the Cats the advantage they need?

In the first two games of the Golden Knights vs. Panthers series, the talent of Vegas’ deep roster has been more than apparent. They’ve outscored the Cats 12-4 through the first two Stanley Cup matchups and show no sign of slowing down — even on the road. Vegas’ 12 goals match the 1982 New York Islanders for the most ever through two games of a Stanley Cup Final.

Although the Panthers may be rejuvenated by playing on home ice, it’s hard to dismiss the value on the Golden Knights’ moneyline for Game 3 tonight. Everything is clicking for Vegas at the right time whereas Florida has been routinely exposed on the backend all while failing to convert possessions to scores.

In our Stanley Cup prediction, we’re backing Vegas at plus money. The Golden Knights should take a commanding 3-0 series lead and set themselves up to win the city of Las Vegas its first-ever sports championship in a Big Four league.
