Race 1 — #2 Hogs Hollow – This straight maiden looks to be coming around for trainer Paddy Gallagher, he just failed to run down the odds on Quarter Given in his last start at 26-1 losing the bob on the line. He will be a good play next time and the price still could be a good one.

Race 6 — #9 Misinjennous – The word was out on this Sadler first time starter and she was being hammered at the betting windows. She left the gate at 90¢ on the dollar. Jockey Gomez, who has been riding in a fog, had her all over the track. She did run her race late but just did miss by a neck. Single at a short price next time out.

Race 4 — #8 Smoken West – Hesitated at the start to be off slow, she tracked the leaders to the turn when she made a wide late run finishing third in what was a good effort despite her antics.

Race 7 — #3 Shadow Lake – First-time starter was off slow and had to be rushed to take a short lead but she then jumped at shadows and took back and had to settle for the show dough.
