Another week of football means another week of crazy games. The 2021 NFL season has not disappointed. This week we were not only treated to an overtime thriller in Las Vegas, but we also witnessed history when the Raven’s Justin Tucker kicked an NFL record-long 66-yard field goal.

Earlier that day, Cardinals kicker Matt Prater tried to set the record by hitting a 68-yard field goal, but came up short, with the Jaguars Jamal Agnew catching it and running for 109 yards for a kick six.

We finished Sunday with an exciting Sunday Night Game, with the Packers winning the game after they got the ball back with only 37 seconds left. But this. Was plenty of time for Aaron Rodgers to get to field goal position. Green Bay’s Mason Crosby kicked a 51-yard field goal for the win.

Last Week’s Results

Dad – 11 games right (3-0)

Calli – 9 games right (0-3)

With all of these games coming down to the wire, I am not doing so hot with my picks. Not only did I lose to my dad AGAIN, but I lost in all four of my fantasy football leagues. But there is some good news. Since Arizona sports betting went live, I have hit three parlays! Who knew I would do better betting on the NFL than playing against my dad.

My dad is currently undefeated against me, winning three weeks in a row, just like his Raiders. We both picked Las Vegas to beat the Miami Dolphins and the game went into overtime and ended with Daniel Carlson kicking the game-winning field goal.

One game that really surprised me was the Tampa Bay and Los Angeles Rams game. My dad was right picking the Rams, but Brady still was able to throw for over 400 yards. However, the Rams had only one penalty along with three sacks, which was just too much for the Bucs to overcome.

Derrick Henry had another solid week helping the Titans win over the Colts. Carson Wentz just isn’t fitting into his new team and I was way wrong thinking the Colts could beat the Titans. Looks like, after a rusty week 1, Tennessee is back on track.

For week 4, my dad and I agreed on all but three games.

Detroit Lions At Chicago Bears

First, I am not sure why my dad keeps picking the Chicago Bears. The entire team has been a huge disappointment so far and even though they are playing the Detroit Lions, I think the Lions will come out with the win. The Lions are 0-3 and the Bears are 1-2 so it will be a pretty low scoring game. I have a feeling sports bettors will be taking the under. The Bears offense is just horrible so I don’t expect them scoring many points. As for the Lions,  D’Andre Swift is a huge offensive threat and if he has a game like he did last week against the Ravens, they won’t have any trouble putting up points. If the Bears do end up losing the game, I feel like head coach Matt Nagy may be getting a pink slip sooner rather than later.

Washington Football Team At Atlanta Falcons

Next is the Washington Football Team and the Atlanta Falcons game, where both teams are 1-2. I still have high hopes for the Washington Football Team for some reason. I think it is because I really like Antonio Gibson on offense and Chase Young on defense. However, the defense has really been struggling. Dad went with the Falcons on this one, but I just don’t have much faith in Matt Ryan and the rest of the team. They did win against the Giants last week, but it wasn’t pretty with the offense being held to only 296 yards. Even though it is in Atlanta, I think the WFT will be able to get a win, but it will be close one.

Arizona Cardinals At Los Angeles Rams

Lastly, my dad had to pick the Los Angeles Ram over the Arizona Cardinals. I get it, the Rams are the favorites and dad ALWAYS looks at the spread when deciding games. As for me, I believe in the Cardinals and I think they are going to come out on fire and surprise us all with a win in Los Angeles. The Arizona defense will need to play like they did in week 1. And Kyler Murray and the offense need to continue to dazzle. If Arizona’s defense and offense both come out strong and finish that way, they have a good chance of taking the NFC West division lead with a win.

Week 4 Games To Watch

This week I will be able to actually watch the games with my dad and the one game we are really looking forward to is the division matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams. Both teams are 3-0 and with the Rams coming off a win against the former Super Bowl champions, they are on top of the world. The Cardinals have had an impressive season as well, but the Rams defense might just be too much for the Cardinals to handle. Even though I think the Rams have a better chance of winning and most sports betting apps have them as the favorite, I have to pick my home team and anything is possible with Kyler Murray as your quarterback.

Sunday Night Football On NBC

Sunday Night Football will be an entertaining game, even though I don’t think it is going to be a close one. Tom Brady returns to New England with his new team to take on Belichick and the Patriots. Not only is it a homecoming for Brady, but also for Rob Gronkowski. The Bucs are going to be the clear winner, but it should still be a game worth watching.

Monday Night Football On ESPN

Another big division game is on Monday Night Football with the Las Vegas Raiders traveling to Los Angeles to take on their rivals, the Chargers. The Chargers just beat the Chiefs, ending week 3 with a 2-1 record. The Raiders are looking to keep their undefeated record and get an early win against a divisional opponent. I expect it to be a close game, but I think the Raiders are going to surprise us all and take the W.
