Week 16 of the NFL season kicks off with the Los Angeles Rams hosting the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football. This should be a great way to start this week of football, and we are here to break down our favorite Thursday Night Football SGP.
The Rams have won four of their last five games, and the offense is starting to look like it did in 2021-22, when they won the Super Bowl. Meanwhile, the Saints sit atop the NFC South at 7-7, and a win tonight would drastically increase their odds of making the playoffs.
This should be a great night of football, and you can make it even better with a Thursday Night Football same game parlay. If you need help finding the best props to craft an SGP, check out our three best Saints vs Rams prop bets.

TNF Saints vs Rams Same Game Parlay
Cooper Kupp Over Receiving Yards
In his first two games of the season, Cooper Kupp averaged 7.5 receptions and 133 receiving yards per game on 10.5 targets. After that, he struggled to produce at his usually dominant level but was still getting targeted.
Over his last two games, Kupp has looked like himself, with a combined 16 receptions for 226 yards and two touchdowns. While one game was against the worst pass defense in the league last week in Washington, Kupp also had a lot of success against Baltimore two weeks ago.
This week, he has the New Orleans Saints coming to town, and they bring one of the best defenses against the pass. However, they will be without starting corner Marshon Lattimore, Lonnie Johnson Jr., and a few edge rushers.
Kupp plays more to the middle of the field, which allows emerging rookie Puka Nacua to control the outside, which will garner most of the attention from the Saints. Obviously, they will not just forget about a player like Kupp, but with how well the Rams have been throwing the ball lately, Kupp should be in for another big night receiving.
Alvin Kamara Over Receptions
There is quite simply no better receiving back in the NFL than Alvin Kamara. Even though he missed the first four games of the season due to a suspension, Kamara leads all running backs in receptions (68) and targets (78).
He also ranks in the top five in receiving yards (446), and while he only has one receiving touchdown, that does not matter for this TNF prop bet. While his targets per game have dropped, Kamara has gone over this number six times this season, and in those games, he is averaging 8.3 receptions.
The Rams’ defense has improved over the last five games, but they still rank in the league’s bottom half in scoring (22.1), yards per play (5.3), and third down conversion rate (38.22%). This should be a close game, which means the Saints could be running a negative game script for a good chunk of the night.
This should open Kamara up to another big night in the passing game, especially against a weak Rams’ linebacker core. This would be the perfect prop bet to add to your Saints vs Rams same-game parlay.
Matthew Stafford Under Passing Touchdowns
Even with a banged-up Saints defense, they still are one of the best units in the league against the pass. They only allow 1.3 passing touchdowns per game and rank in the top 10 in yards per pass, completion percentage, and passing yards per game.
Los Angeles’s offense is very streaky, and they are playing at a very high level right now. Over the last four games, Matthew Stafford has averaged three touchdown passes per game with a 66% completion percentage.
Two games came against terrible defenses, and another was against a hurt Cleveland secondary. Based on how up-and-down Stafford has been since the Super Bowl win, he should be due for some regression against a top-pass defense.
Before this four-game run, Stafford only had one game with more than one passing touchdown. New Orleans has allowed two passing touchdowns just once in their last five games, and they should do the same tonight.
