Tiger Woods’ odds to win the 2022 Masters were shortened dramatically at Circa Sports in Las Vegas. It still isn’t known if Woods will be able to participate in this year’s tournament at Augusta National Golf Club, but Circa continues to adjust the odds on the five-time Masters champion.
The latest news around Tiger: He played a practice round yesterday at Augusta with Fred Couples and Justin Thomas. Couples said afterward that he was “sure” Tiger would play in the Masters. Woods has a press conference scheduled for 11 a.m. ET today. On Sunday, Woods tweeted:
I will be heading up to Augusta today to continue my preparation and practice. It will be a game-time decision on whether I compete. Congratulations to 16-year-old Anna Davis on an amazing win at the @anwagolf and good luck to all the kids in the @DriveChipPutt.

Circa hung opening odds of +40000 (400-1) on Woods on February 16. Jeff Davis, the primary golf oddsmaker at Circa, lowered them to +15000 (150-1) six days later. At last check, the odds on Woods were +7500 (75-1).
It is notable given that any bets made on Woods become immediate action at Circa. That is not the case at most sportsbooks, including Westgate SuperBook, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, and PointsBet, where bets on Woods would be refunded if he does not tee off at Augusta National.
“In the case of Tiger Woods, we were as high as 400-1,” Davis said in an email to Gaming Today. “While we don’t divulge specific bets that were made in public forums, you can imagine that this price attracted some interest. While he clearly won’t be 400-1 if he plays, the bettors are gambling that he does. If he doesn’t play, your bet is a loser.”
Circa has a unique way of booking The Masters, one that differs from most sportsbooks.
“If we refunded non-starters, we would never have gone to 400-1 in the first place, so comparing our advance Masters pricing on Tiger Woods to other shops is somewhat apples to oranges,” he said.
Westgate SuperBook VP of Risk Management Jeff Sherman, a golf oddsmaking specialist, said the largest bet on Woods at his book has been $1,046 at odds of +10000. Sherman noted the majority of action on Woods came when he played in the PNC Championship with his son Charlie last December. Since then, it’s been slow.
“If he announces he’s playing, I would expect a rush on him and the odds to settle at 50-1 or 60-1,” Sherman said in a text message.
As of this publication on Tuesday, April 5, Woods was +6000 (60-1) at Westgate SuperBook.
Will Tiger Play In The Masters This Year?
Twitter has been abuzz after a recent tweet about Woods and his ongoing recovery from a serious car accident last year.
Have heard from multiple people in South Florida that Tiger Woods has been out walking Medalist multiple times this week. Joey was also in town to walk.

Phil Mickelson, still reeling after becoming embroiled in a controversy with the PGA Tour, has officially pulled out of The Masters. That’s not the case for Woods, who will reportedly be in Augusta for the champions dinner and a possible appearance in the par-3 tournament. Could he be up for even more competition in The Masters?
Time will tell, but DraftKings and FanDuel aren’t exactly warming to the possibility of another win by Woods. FanDuel was dealing Woods at +4200 on February 17; he’s been lengthened to +5000 there as of today. The +4000 odds at DraftKings from February remained the same as of today.
