Week 8 of the NFL season kicks off with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football. Here’s a look at all the TNF anytime touchdown scorer props at the top sports betting apps we recommend. Click on the odds you like to sign up at that sportsbook and place your bet.
The total for the game is set at 43.5 on Thursday morning, and Buffalo is just over a touchdown favorite on the spread (-8.5 at most sportsbooks). Something to be advised, however, is both teams are near the top of the league in scoring defense. They both allow just over 17 points per game.
Another point to consider: Tampa Bay hasn’t scored many touchdowns this season. Specifically, they have 10 total TDs, and four of those are to Mike Evans. In comparison, Buffalo has played one more game and scored 24 total touchdowns this season.
We’ll still take a look at where the best anytime TD betting opportunities are to score in the game.
Six touchdowns were scored last week, but our predictions went 0-2. Travis Etienne Jr. had two scores himself, Taysom Hill added one for the Saints, and the Jaguars had a defensive pick-six.

Buccaneers vs Bills Anytime Touchdown Scorer Props
Stefon Diggs
Diggs has been the primary receiver for Josh Allen and the Bills by a considerable margin. He’s had 55 catches, more than double the catches of the next-highest receiver, tight end Dalton Kincaid, with 25. He averages 12.3 yards per catch, and more importantly, leads the team with six TD grabs in the end zone.
The Buccaneers defense doesn’t give up a lot of points. In fact, they allow just 17.3 points per game, which is sixth-best in the league. However, they are one of the worst passing defenses, allowing 246.7 yards per game.
Diggs is an active participant in every Bills game, and there hasn’t been a contest yet where he’s caught less than six passes. He’s been targeted in the double-digits over three consecutive games. If you’re looking for a TD scorer, it’s hard not to go back to the well with Diggs.
Dalton Kincaid
When you have a game that features two strong scoring defenses, it provides an opportunity to think outside the box. A more conservative approach would be to take the Bucs wide receiver, Mike Evans, here. After all, he’s scored nearly half of all the TDs that Tampa Bay has scored all season.
However, we’ll go with a value play here, and it’s on Buffalo as well. Tight end Dalton Kincaid has seen relatively good production across the season, save for just two catches and three yards in a blowout win over Washington.
Kincaid is coming off his best game of the season, grabbing all eight targets for 75 yards against New England. He’s now had three games with at least five catches. No touchdowns have been scored yet, however.
That could change on Thursday night. Tampa Bay hasn’t given up many TDs, but more of them have been through the air. There’s also the fact that another tight end, Dawson Knox, is having wrist surgery and won’t be on the field.
