UFC betting odds are available on Dana White’s Contender Series ahead of tonight’s sixth episode of the current season.
The lineup features five fights between up-and-coming mixed-martial arts talent, including Darrius Flowers, who fights out of Iowa. Flowers (11-5-1), who was born in Chicago, will take on the country of Georgia’s Amiran Gogoladze (14-2) on Tuesday night in the co-main event slot.
The fight is also expected to be short per DraftKings odds, with under 1.5 rounds coming in at -170 and the over at +130.
Fighting Chance for UFC Contract
The two welterweights will be vying for a chance at a coveted UFC contract.
“I just like to fight,” Flowers told GamingToday. “I’m fighting for me to reach my highest potential and improve my life for my loved ones. When I used to be an amateur, I cared about what the fans thought, and now I don’t care what anyone thinks at all. It’s all about me. I’m being selfish at the moment.”
Flowers, 27, has experience in the Legacy Fighting Alliance and King of The Cage among other promotions.
Gogoladze, 24, has fought for M1, UAE Warriors, and the GFC. He is on a three-fight win streak of first-round finishes. But Flowers said he isn’t bothered.
“I think he’s a kid,” he said. “I think he’s in a stage I’ve already been through, thinking he has to knock everybody out. As a 24-year-old kid in MMA, it’s a bad mindset to have and it will run into a wall.”
Typically, UFC President Dana White awards contracts to impressive finishes or the occasional dominant decision victory. Last week, all five winners were awarded contracts.
“I don’t need to knock anybody out and if Dana White doesn’t realize that, I don’t want to be there,” Flowers added. “I’ll go to PFL (or) anywhere else. But this guy has the best record of the whole Contender Series. He’s the most hyped up from Georgia. It doesn’t matter how I win, but he’s going to bleed.”

Contender Series Main Event
The main event features two undefeated fighters with less experience than their co-main counterparts. Heavyweights Michael Parkin (5-0) and Eduardo Neves (5-0) cap off the night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
England’s Parkin has put together a string of five finishes in his five fights, a majority of them being first-round knockouts. But Brazil’s Neves has done the same, including back-to-back first-round knockouts in the LFA.
So, DraftKings is expecting this matchup to be short and sweet, regardless of who comes out on top. The under 1.5 rounds is a favorite at -225 with the over coming in at +130.
Neves is the betting favorite at -190 with Parkin being listed as a +160 underdog on DraftKings.
