Coming on the heels of UFC 273, it’s back to the UFC Apex for UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas on Saturday night. And all eyes will focus on the main event, where Jessica Andrade, UFC’s No. 1 strawweight, squares off against Amanda Lemos.
After three bouts at flyweight, Andrade returns to strawweight and is the sports betting favorite at DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, BetRivers, and FanDuel. A former strawweight champion, Andrade is looking to return to that level, but will need to beat her fellow Brazilian to move closer to that goal.
Lemos is thinking of becoming a champion as well, looking to follow the path of a competitor she’s long admired.
“What excites me the most is knowing that if I win this fight, I will be one step closer to the UFC belt,” Lemos told UFC.com. “I feel like I am on the right path to fulfill my goals and realize my dream, which is becoming the next UFC champion.”
Andrade’s experience gives her an edge, but one factor that experts are considering is how she’ll fare after dropping weight to return to the strawweight division.

“I think what excites me the most about this fight with Amanda is the strength that she has,” Andrade told UFC.com. “I want to fight the best, I want to face the strongest, and Amanda is definitely among those.
“We were in similar situations in the organization. I know a lot of opponents turned me down, and a lot of opponents turned her down; we are both game and willing to do what others are not.”
Lemos has won her last five fights dating back to December 2019. Andrade beat Cynthia Calvillo at UFC 266 last September. It was her first bout since losing a title bout against Valentina Shevchenko.
Andrade Vs. Lemos Line Shopping
Note: All odds were current as of Thursday morning.
Andrade is -190 at both Caesars and BetRivers, -200 at BetMGM, and -210 at both DraftKings and FanDuel. Lemos is as low as +150 at BetRivers, topping out at +175 at DraftKings.
If you’d like to enhance your odds, here are some props from DraftKings worth considering.
–Lemos by decision +650
–Lemos by submission +1000
–Lemos by KO/TKO/DQ +350
–Andrade by decision +240
–Andrade by submission +600
–Andrade by KO/TKO/DQ +175
There was also a prop offered on a draw at +5000. When it comes to round props, there’s good money to be made on Lemos. If you think she’ll stop Andrade in the fifth, and final, round, grab her at +2800. The odds decrease from there, though she’s still +800 to end the bout in the first round.
Andrade is +2200 to end it in the fifth round, and a still intriguing +400 to end it in the opening round.
Alexander Romanov A Big Favorite Vs. Chase Sherman
When Tanner Boser was forced to miss this bout due to injury, UFC needed to find someone to face Romanov on short notice. Enter Chase Sherman, who’d been released by the organization earlier in the month.
Odds on the bout weren’t posted until Thursday, but it’s clear bookmakers don’t give Sherman much chance to gain a foothold in UFC by posting an upset for the ages. And it would certainly go down as one of the biggest upsets in the sport.
Romanov is a staggering -1800 at FanDuel, while he’s -1430 at BetRivers, and -1375 at DraftKings.
Sherman is +880 at FanDuel, +800 at DraftKings, and +700 at BetRivers.
Clay Guida, Claudio Puelles Are Evenly Matched
Oddsmakers don’t see much to differentiate Clay Guida and Claudio Puelles heading into their lightweight matchup.
It’s a meeting of a veteran and a relative newcomer, as Guida, 40, is 37-18-0 in his career. In his last bout, he beat Leonard Santos by submission in December.
At 26, Puelles carries a 12-2-0 record into the octagon on Saturday. He’s won four straight, submitting Chris Gruetzemacher in December in his last bout.
Puelles is -110 at FanDuel and tops out at -120 at BetMGM.
Guida meanwhile is -105 at DraftKings and Caesars. If you’re thinking Guida’s experience will win out, grabbing him at +100 at BetMGM is your best bet.
More UFC Fight Night Odds
There are six bouts on Saturday night’s card and oddsmakers don’t see any of them being lopsided affairs when compared to Romanov’s odds against Sherman.
In a featherweight matchup, Charles Jourdain is favored over Lando Vannata. The best option for Jordain is -115 at BetMGM, while he’s -125 at DraftKings, Caesars, and BetRivers. He’s -128 at FanDuel.
Vannata is +105 at DraftKings and Caesars, +104 at FanDuel, +101 at BetRivers, and -105 at BetMGM.
In a women’s flyweight bout, Maycee Barber is favored over Montana De La Rosa. The best option on Barber is -180 at DraftKings, while she tops out at -200 at BetMGM and FanDuel.
De La Rosa’s best odds are +160 at BetMGM and FanDuel, while she’s +155 at DraftKings.
In a men’s flyweight matchup, Manel Kape is favored over Su Mudaerji. Grab Kape at -178 at FanDuel, as he tops out at -200 at BetMGM.
Mudaerji is +165 at BetMGM, and down to +144 at FanDuel.
