The final APEX show this month for the UFC is a Fight Night Card on April 30, and the betting market has numerous odds and props to get in on. Here are odds for UFC Vegas 53, headlined by Rob Font and Marlon Vera in the main event.

Font vs. Vera will take place at the UFC APEX center, which is a smaller octagon. The 25-foot cage has resulted in higher finish rates with featherweights finishing 2% higher and heavyweight bouts with finish rates rising 5%.

Font (-125 as of Wednesday at Draft Kings) squares off with ‘Chito’ Vera (+105) in a bantamweight battle.

UFC Vegas 53 starts on Saturday with prelims at 4:30 p.m. ET and the main card at 7 p.m. ET. You can watch UFC Vegas 53 on ESPN+ PPV.

Main Event In-The-Octagon Preview

This main event pairs fifth-ranked Font against eighth-ranked Vera. Both fighters are looking to cement their positions in the bantamweight hierarchy with a win in this contest.

While Vera (18-7-1) is the lower ranked fighter, he is the one carrying a winning streak into this event. The Ecuadorian fighter won his last two bouts, going 8-2 over his last 10 fights beating ranked competition. His only losses came at the hands of elite fighters Song Yadong and Jose Aldo. It was Vera’s third round knockout of Frank Edgar at UFC 268 that solidified his spot in the top 10 for the first time in his career.

Font (19-5) was on a four-fight winning run that began with a dominant unanimous decision over Cody Garbrandt. But it all came to a screeching hault when he dropped a decision to former featherweight kingpin Aldo, the same fighter that last took down Vera.

Co-Main Event: Andrei Arlovski Favored vs. Jake Collier

Heavyweights take ownership of the co-main event position in a battle between veteran Andrei Arlovski and former middleweight and light heavyweight Jake Collier.

Despite being 43 years old, Arlovski has not slowed down a bit with three consecutive wins, the most recent coming in UFC 271. The former champion enters the fight only having lost to Tom Aspinall in his last six outings.

It seems as though Collier is finally settling into the heavyweight division after registering his first stoppage win since 2016 back in January. The first round submission over Chase Sherman pushed the Missouri native’s record to 13-6 overall.

Arlovski is priced at -140 as the favorite, with Jake Collier offered at +120 as the dog on DraftKings.

Andre Fili Returns With Vengeance Vs. Joanderson Brito

Andre Fili makes his return to the octagon after nearly a year. His last outing ended in a no contest due to an unintentional eye poke in a fight he was dominating against Daniel Pineda. That outing solidified Fili going winless in 2021. The 31-year-old looks to bounce back and prove that he is still a threat.

Joanderson Brito lost his UFC debut in January and will look to record his first win.

Fili is priced at -260 as the favorite, with Brito offered at +210 as the dog at DraftKings.
