Whether on the stage or behind it, odds are that Douglas “Lefty” Leferovich has entertained you. An accredited performer, magician, creative director, and consultant, Doug does it all.

His passion for entertaining started at just four years old, performing for his pre-K classmates. Bitten by the magic bug, he spent the next decade honing his skills.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania as a communications major with a minor in marketing/advertising at the Wharton Business School, he and future business partner Seth Yudoff toured the world for five years with their creation, The Gamesters, a visual comedy and magic act.

Starting at the Sands Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City then making the move to out west, Leferovich has emerged as a force in Las Vegas entertainment as a result of his creativity and production expertise. Whether consulting on over a dozen headline shows in Vegas or performing in the Strip’s major casinos and hotels, it has become clear that Leferovich has added his own special magical touch to many of the shows that audiences enjoy when they come to the entertainment capital of the world.

“I’m fortunate I get to do what I love to do,” Leferovich said. “When the pandemic hit, the things I missed most was being creative, working with others on various projects, and being on stage.

Check Out More Entertainment Here

“Entertainment has realized it has to be resilient and reinvent itself. Vegas is doing that. When it opens up again, I feel the smaller shows and venues here have a real opportunity to prosper.”

As a creative director, this jack-of-all-trades has worked with everyone from Wayne Newton to Boys II Men to Mike Tyson to Meatloaf. The list is as impressive as it is endless.

“Lefty” appears nightly as the comical sidekick and guest act for the resident show, “MURRAY The Magician” inside the Laugh Factory at the Tropicana Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip. The Merlin Award winner is known throughout the world as one of the best sleight-of-hand magicians performing today.

You can catch him regularly on the popular Masters of Illusion show on the CW network. As a matter of fact, Leferovich has so much going on and so many projects in the works, the only way to keep up with him is by following him on his website, www.douglasleferovich.com, which is updated almost daily.

Legendary performer and producer of the Laugh Factory Las Vegas Harry Basil said, “Lefty’s” character is funny and hip but also embodies a classic nostalgia, like if Red Skelton or Buster Keaton did really cool card tricks.”

Leferovich said: “ I look forward to the next phase of entertainment. People are taking this time to work on their craft and will come back better than ever.”

Wonder Woman Righetti

When you think of Wonder Woman, you think of movies, television, and comics. But we have our own Wonder Woman right here in Las Vegas and her name is Joelle Righetti.

Born in Youngstown, Ohio, and raised in the glimmering lights of Las Vegas, her father was part of Elvis Presley’s security staff and her uncle was Frank Sinatra’s saxophone player. With over 38 years in show business, Joelle has worn many hats: singer, actress, Cher impersonator, magician’s assistant, musician, and songwriter.

Known for being employed by five of the longest-running shows on the Las Vegas Strip including Les Follies Bergere and Siegfried and Roy’s Beyond Belief, her longest claim to fame was with the Lance Burton show as the lead magician’s assistant for over 18 years.

This amazing talent has done countless film and television projects. But around the globe she is known for her live performance and theater work in such acclaimed hits as Legends in Concert, Vegas the Show, as well as The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.

“I love people, helping, people, making them smile, and entertaining them,” Righetti said.

She has opened up for several national acts including Fuel, Warrant, Firehouse, and Frankie Perez. Her original music got airtime on Las Vegas’ prominent local rock radio stations, as well as national exposure. Currently, she fronts Joelle and The Gypsys, which covers Aerosmith to Led Zeppelin, Amy Winehouse to Joan Jett and everything in-between.

Her upbringing consisted of Sunday dinners with the likes of Steve Lawrence, Eydie Gorme and Ann Margaret. And even was serenaded as a toddler on stage by Elvis Presley to the song, “Teddy Bear.” As a child roaming the backstages and dressing rooms of the biggest headliners in Las Vegas was where her passion for entertaining began.

Never one to sit idly, Joelle is a devoted mother to her 15-year old son, she contributes to several local businesses, and even has a successful YouTube podcast “The Frannie and JoJo Show.” If that wasn’t enough, she is known throughout southern Nevada as The Gypsy Mobile Minister, catering to elopements here in the Las Vegas Valley, which includes several Strip properties.

Righetti has twice been honored with a nomination for the Top 100 Women of Influence in MYVEGAS magazine. She also spends time leading worship for her church and mentoring those with addictions. Currently, she attends seminary at Calvary Chapel University working on her bachelor’s degree in ministry.

“I’m not near ready to hang my boots up,” she said. “There’s more to come. You ain’t seen nothing yet.”

Look for dates down the road at the Tuscany Suites & Casino inside the famed, Copa Room. You can also see her at the same venue performing nightly as the sexy bunny in The Rat Pack is Back show.
