TULE FOG: Ran huge on opening day with the extremely underrated jockey Saul Arias riding. He shot to the front end in this mile turf race and held well to be second at almost 24/1. Look for another big effort next out. A must use in exotics.

FAVORABLE OUTCOME: Was in from New York for trainer Chad Brown. He ran a better than looked 3rd running against the speed bias. Give him a big upgrade next out wherever he shows up sprinting.

KROY: Was in from Gulfstream Park West for trainer De la Cerda and ran huge, getting caught late at 7/1. He was more than three lengths clear of the rest and will be hard to beat next out going long on the grass.

SPECTRE BOND: Was hampered by the speed bias on opening day. Had to come five wide into the stretch picking up the place late by a nostril. He wins next out on a fair track.

SENSIBLE MYTH: Ran a winning race down the hill but somehow got nailed in the last jump by Javier Castellano on a 27/1 shot. No mistakes next out going down the hill for this filly. Solid single next out. $$$

LONGDEN: Maiden 2yo was five wide running against the opening day bias in this 4 furlong sprint. Had a good late run to just miss the show dough by a dwindling 1/2 length. This runner is improving for Baffert and the longer the better. Will love him next out going a mile or longer. $$$$$

BIG BUZZ: Was caught on the far outside in this 1-1/8 turf race. He ran a nice even race and will be set for the win next out going long on the grass.
