Some Megakeno casinos will allow you to do this on a way ticket at $1.50 per way, the Megakeno rate. Others may require a separate ticket for each way. Most will not allow combining Me
gakeno ways with ways from other rates, thus it is definitely better to put any play on a separate ticket to avoid a long stay at the counter while the writer redoes your ticket, much to the chagrin of those behind you in line!
The idea of course is to pick all the numbers, thus we add a few extra (and of course have to pay for this privilege) to increase our chances of hitting the 9- or 10-spot solid. Try grouping as 4-4-2-1-1, which would give you two 10s and two 9s and cost you $6. If you are concerned for your numbers being scatters play on a separate ticket the one-spot for $1.
If you like the other ways play them at the special 40 or 50 cents a way as allowed by the casino.
This grouping of 4-4-2-1-1 also gives you three 8s, four 7s, four 6s, four 5s, three 4s, two 3s, two deuces (group of 2) and two kings (group of one), and if you really want to play them, two 11-spots. There are five groups, thus there must be a total of 31 ways.
Starting from the top down we again have a 12, two 11s, two 10s, two 9s, three 8s, four 7s, four 6s, four 5s, three 4s, two 3s, two 2, and two ones or 31 ways.
If you are not concerned about the MegaKeno progressive for $1.50 per way and just want to have fun, play the Deano Rate at The D for a dime a way (85% return, best for low level tickets in Las Vegas). Plus, for $3.10 per game (think of the 3:10 to Yuma) you have a whopper of a ticket! (Plays well but the Burger King whopper tastes better.) Loads of action.
You will revel in the excitement if you get more than a few numbers, wondering how much you will win, but the keno computer (as smart as the Hal 9000) knows! The D’s Deano rate also pays on hitting nothing on the higher number spot tickets, thus you can win $$$ for nothing.
Remember to show your slot card or keno account number for all ticket purchases. Most casinos do not use the slot card to track but a few still use account numbers to get comp credit and offers.
