North Carolina residents will have a wide range of bet types and sports to choose from when mobile sports betting launches on March 11.

Crucially, in the basketball-mad and basketball-history-rich state, college sports are among them. North Carolina sports betting rules and regulations are consistent with most of the other 37 US jurisdictions in some phase of legalization and implementation of sports betting in that regard, and in that they disallow wagers on youth sports but allow typical bet types such as parlays and player propositions. This includes in-state and out-of-state college teams.

With the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament launching within days after the mobile sports betting market, the North Carolina Tar Heels and Duke Blue Devils are hot tickets because of their high perches in the latest AP Poll and odds of winning March Madness.

Gaming Today breaks down the options on the books right now.
