The 2022 NFL Playoff field is set, and wagering has opened on the Wild-Card Round. Early point spreads, totals, and moneylines posted on oddsboards around the betting market are listed below.
Bettors are treated to six games on Wild-Card Weekend, which starting this season extends to Monday. Two games are scheduled for Saturday, three for Sunday, and the NFL’s decision to play a first-round playoff game on a Monday night is one for which sports gamblers everywhere are grateful.
The AFC gets things started with both Saturday games: Raiders at Bengals (4:30 p.m. ET, NBC) and Patriots at Bills (8:15 p.m. ET, CBS). It’s Steelers at Chiefs on Sunday night (8:15 p.m. ET, NBC).
The NFC bracket features Eagles at Bucs (Sunday, 1 p.m ET, Fox), 49ers at Cowboys (Sunday, 4:30 p.m. ET, CBS), and Cardinals vs. Rams (Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET, NBC).
FanDuel was quick to hang lines for the NFC slate, while DraftKings was among the first sportsbooks with numbers for Steelers-Chiefs, opening betting on that game while the Chargers-Raiders game was still undecided.
Numbers listed here are current as of Monday morning, with notes on early movement. Odds tables are updated frequently.
NFL Wild-Card Round Point Spreads, Totals, Moneylines
Raiders at Bengals
Point spread: Bengals -6.5
Total: 49
Moneyline: Bengals -270, Raiders +230
Early moves and notes: FanDuel opened Bengals -6 (-115), and the total was bet up from 48 and 48.5. Cincy was a 2-point favorite in a 32-13 win at Las Vegas in November.
NFL · Sat (1/15) @ 4:34pm ET
LV Raiders | at | CIN Bengals |
Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati, Ohio |
Patriots at Bills
Point spread: Bills -4.5
Total: 43.5
Moneyline: Bills -210, Pats +180
Early moves and notes: The total opened 44 on some oddsboards. This is the third meeting of the season between these AFC East foes. The Bills cashed as 1-point dogs at New England in Week 16, but lost outright as 3-point favorites in the weather-impacted home game, 14-10.
NFL · Sat (1/15) @ 8:15pm ET
NE Patriots | at | BUF Bills |
Bills Stadium, Orchard Park, New York |
Eagles at Bucs
Point spread: Bucs -9
Total: 49
Moneyline: Bucs -410, Eagles +330
Early moves and notes: FanDuel’s opening price of Bucs -7 was too cheap for the market’s tastes, and the total has dipped from a 50.5 opener. Tampa laid 7 in Philly back in October, failing to cash in a 28-22 victory.
NFL · Sun (1/16) @ 1:04pm ET
PHI Eagles | at | TB Buccaneers |
Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida |
49ers at Cowboys
Point spread: Cowboys -3
Total: 49.5
Moneyline: Cowboys -160, 49ers +140
Early move and notes: BetMGM was as high as Dallas -3.5 here. The total ticked downward from as high as 51 in the first few hours of wagering.
NFL · Sun (1/16) @ 4:40pm ET
SF 49ers | at | DAL Cowboys |
AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas |
Steelers at Chiefs
Point spread: Chiefs -12.5
Total: 46.5
Moneyline: Chiefs -750, Steelers +525
Early moves and notes: DraftKings’ first number was -13, and BetMGM flashed -13.5. The -12.5 on which the early market has settled is still higher than the -10 Kansas City covered at home in a 36-10 rout over Pitt in Week 16.
NFL · Sun (1/16) @ 8:15pm ET
PIT Steelers | at | KC Chiefs |
Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri |
Cardinals at Rams
Point spread: Rams -4.5
Total: 50.5
Moneyline: Rams -200, Cardinals +175
Early move and notes: FanDuel’s opening number of Rams -3 (-114) proved too light, and the SuperBook’s -5 was a tad high. These teams split their regular-season meetings, each winning and covering on their rival’s home field. In the more recent meeting, Los Angeles (+3) won outright in Arizona, 30-23. In Week 4, the Cards (+4) won in L.A., 37-20. Both games went ‘over’ smaller numbers than the 50.5 on oddsboards in early wagering.
