The 2023 NFL Draft is almost here and the uncertainty over what will happen is at an all-time high. We’ve seen reports of who teams have fallen in (and out) of love with and the NFL draft odds have reflected some of those reports. As the sports betting markets have expanded, we have many excellent NFL draft betting markets to jump on.

With rumors circulating until each pick is announced, Kentucky quarterback Will Levis is one of the hottest names throughout this year’s draft cycle. The divisive passer is undoubtedly raw as a decision-maker but possesses terrific athletic traits and unique experience from a pro-style system.

We’re diving into Will Levis’ NFL Draft odds as he’s climbed boards and is favored to be selected No. 2 overall by the Houston Texans.

The NFL Draft begins with the first round on Thursday, Apr. 27, at 8 p.m. ET in Kansas City. The draft continues Friday with Rounds 2 and 3 before concluding Saturday with Rounds 4 through 7.

Will Levis NFL Draft Odds: The Most Polarizing QB of 2023

With Alabama quarterback Bryce Young listed as the heavy favorite to land No. 1 overall to the Carolina Panthers, four of the top sportsbooks have agreed that Levis is most likely to go second overall. It’s possible Houston doesn’t end up making that selection and they trade out, but the Texans are currently in pole position to take the controversial gunslinger.

If the Texans are to draft Levis, he would surely be entered into a quarterback competition with incumbent Davis Mills. Mills, who just completed his second season, was fine but unable to show star upside. The hope for Houston is they find a true difference-maker at the game’s most critical position.

Levis’ draft stock has bounced all over, from being projected in the top-four consistently to falling to as low as 19th to Tampa Bay in recent weeks.

The betting market was uncertain until this past weekend. Texas Tech edge rusher Tyree Wilson and Alabama’s Will Anderson Jr. were atop draft prop odds for the No. 2 pick. Then, according to BetMGM senior trader Cameron Drucker, “A known sharp group was playing Will Levis to go No. 2.”

It’s also possible the media simply misread Houston’s interest in him. The recent negative buzz about Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud may have also revealed a new line of interest in Levis.

Houston, along with fellow AFC South competitors Indianapolis and Tennessee, continues to be most heavily linked to Levis.

Seattle, Detroit, Las Vegas, and Atlanta could also have some level of interest in acquiring a young quarterback as well. This is what will make this draft so fun.

NFL Draft Odds: Will Levis’ Draft Position

One way to bet on the 2023 NFL Draft is to bet the Over or Under on Levis’ draft position.

By taking the Over, you’re saying Levis will be taken after the listed draft position. For example, taking Over his 3.5 draft position line means you believe he’ll go fourth overall or later. Taking the Under means he’ll go first, second, or third.

Will Levis Draft Odds: Who Will Be Drafted Earlier?

One of the more unique prop bets offered by DraftKings Sportsbook asks “Who will be drafted earlier?”

Bettors can choose either Levis or Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson. Though Richardson has garnered a large number of fans with his combine performance, immense athleticism, and natural feel for the game, he’s clearly a work in progress with one year of starting experience. Levis is considered the heavy favorite in this prop bet.

Anthony Richardson+285+285+275

Richardson is certainly a tantalizing talent so this either/or bet from DraftKings can be a good opportunity to score some value. Levis is no longer a sharp bet as he’s the favored pick at No. 2 and No. 4. Sportsbooks have hedged their prices in case the Colts trade up for Levis in order to block the Titans or another suitor.

The unknown opens the door for a longshot bet to hit. Of course, it’s critical you know how to bet on the 2023 NFL Draft before diving in, so be sure to read our breakdown of the best sports betting apps to bet on the NFL Draft.
