Wings and Allison were great at Whiskey Dick’s

Another week of NFL games and it was time to head somewhere new. So we chose Whiskey Dick’s (2750 E. Craig Road).

The bar area has plenty of TV’s throughout so you will be able to watch your favorite team no matter where seated. The waitresses were very accommodating when we asked them to put on certain games that were wagered on during the day.

The setup was fine so it was time to get some drinks and check out the food. The bartender, Allison, was fun and made our visit very enjoyable. She cracked jokes with us all afternoon and made sure our glasses were always full.

Whiskey Dick’s has food service but it is a separate company that leases the kitchen. The Pizza Kings provides the food and offers an extensive menu along with several food specials during the games.

One of the specials were wings, which I thought were very good as I liked their sauce. They were cooked just the way I like. Next up I ordered the sausage appetizer served with peppers and onions, which was awesome.

We split a sandwich called The Big Ron, which is a combination of a Philly Cheese Steak and a Grilled Chicken Sandwich with mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, lettuce, tomatoes and Ron’s special mustard-based vinaigrette dressing.

The combination may not sound good but I can tell you we loved this sandwich. There were so many other items on the menu I want to try on my next visit, which will be real soon.

Whiskey Dick’s was an all-around fun place to watch the games plus the waitresses and bartenders all made us feel like we were at home. Too often I go into bars here in Las Vegas and you can tell the bar caters to tourists as finding a good neighborhood bar is tough.

It’s just a shame it is on the other side of town from me because I could make this place my go to bar. When you add how good the food was this is a can’t miss place.

Whiskey Dick’s is more than just a place to eat and drink as there is almost always something going on nightly. They get live bands on Saturday, while during the week one night is Karaoke and another is Pub Trivia. There are also food specials during football games.

Next time you’re on the I-15 and see the Craig Road exit head west and be sure to check out WD’s. I am giving them a rating of 3.75 Forks out of 4.
