We’re going back to the well with some players in our Game 4 World Series props and home run bets. The Phillies took a 2-1 series lead with a 7-0 win Tuesday night and can put a Vise-Grip on the Astros with another victory Wednesday.

Right-hander Christian Javier takes the hill for the Astros against Phillies ace Aaron Nola.

The top sportsbook apps offer plenty of Game 4 World Series props, so be sure to take some to find the most appealing prices for your wagers.

World Series Game 4 Astros vs. Phillies Odds

Game 4 is priced as a virtual coin-flip across the sports betting marketplace. Here are the best current odds among several sports betting apps.

Harper, Bregman Among Game 4 Props, HR Picks

Bryce Harper Over 0.5 Home Runs (+350, FanDuel)

Harper continues to produce like someone who’s been the face of baseball since before he could legally drink alcohol. He deposited a Lance McCullers curveball into the right field seats in Game 3. The homers can come in bunches — he went yard in three straight contests earlier in the postseason. It will be another cool but comfortable night in Philadelphia, which makes things a bit more palatable for the hitters when they step into the batter’s box.

Alex Bregman Over 1.5 Combined Hits, Runs, RBI (+100, DraftKings)

Bregman’s Game 3 line (0 for 3, walk) falls short of explaining why we may be encouraged about him heading into Game 4. Bregman worked an 11-pitch walk in his eighth-inning at-bat, fouling off and spitting on a number of tough pitches.

Sometimes locking in for an at-bat like that can get a hitter on track. The Astros can’t afford for Bregman to be quiet tonight, and the former LSU Tiger has both the talent and tough-mindedness to elevate his game in this spot.

Yordan Alvarez Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115, Caesars)

Have you ever caught the flu or a nasty cold just as you’re set to embark on vacation? That must be what it feels like for Alvarez, who has gone ice-cold to begin the World Series. One can be confident Alvarez and staff are trying everything in their power to break Alvarez’s fever (so to speak) and get him locked in again. And Alvarez is such a good hitter that it may only take one at-bat to get right. From the bettor’s perspective, plus-money for 1.5 total bases is a reasonable gamble in spite of Alvarez’s recent struggles.

Aaron Nola Under 5.5 Strikeouts (+120, DraftKings)

There’s a lot of talk of Yordan Alvarez’s slump on the Astros’ side, but Nola’s recent slide is of immediate concern as well. The Astros lit up Nola for five runs in 4.1 innings in Game 1, and while he’ll certainly make adjustments, the Astros will have tangible confidence against him Wednesday night. The Under play has more to do with the Astros’ propensity to make contact than anything else. However, if Nola is in store for another truncated outing, it only decreases the odds of him collecting six punchouts.

Cristian Javier Over 3.5 Hits Allowed (-105, DraftKings)

Javier has not surrendered four hits in a start since September 7 against the Texas Rangers, so Over 3.5 hits may be a tougher task than it appears on the surface. However, regular-season — and even postseason — starts can’t compare to Game 4 of the World Series with your back against the wall. Javier may deliver another quality outing, but he’s facing a Phillies team that’s hot and flying with confidence. The task is not likely to come as easily and cleanly as some of his previous turns.
