With the 2023-24 European club soccer seasons winding down, a big summer of international action is approaching. Euro 2024 odds are available to bet on for the upcoming tournament, which will run from June 14 through July 14. The Copa America will kick off in the US a week later.

With less than two months before the tournament gets underway with Germany taking on Scotland, you can bet on Euro Cup odds at online sports betting apps now and throughout the UEFA European Championship. England and France are heavily favored as Euro Cup outright odds favorites, with Germany, Spain, and Portugal also seen as contenders — all currently listed at 8-to-1 or shorter.

Euro 2024 Outright Winner Odds

Euro Cup Betting Favorites

Here, we break down the best bets on the Euro 2024 oddsboard to help bettors find value in the tournament table.

England — Best Available Odds:

After losing to Croatia in the semifinals of the 2018 World Cup, England entered both Euro 2020 (played in 2021 due to the pandemic) and the 2022 World Cup among the favorites to win those tournaments. They came up just short of the glory in 2021 (with a loss to Italy on penalty kicks in the final) and exited the most recent World Cup in painful fashion. The English side lost to France 2-1 in the quarterfinals after a crucial missed penalty by Harry Kane in the 84th minute.

Once again, we know the Three Lions will be loaded, regardless of which players Manager Gareth Southgate chooses to include on this roster. The question that has plagued English soccer for decades remains the same: can Kane and Co. finally come through in the biggest moments to help England win a long-awaited major trophy?

France — Best Available Odds:

France could not have come closer to winning their second consecutive World Cup trophy back in December 2022, but ultimately lost a nailbiter to Lionel Messi and Argentina in the 2022 World Cup final.

That young roster — which dealt with as many injuries as any team in the field in 2022 — is rightfully a co-favorite along with England this summer. At 25, superstar Kylian Mbappe remains squarely in his prime, and most of the players (both starters and reserves) who got on the pitch against Argentina are still in their 20s. The exceptions, ageless veterans Antoine Griezmann (33) and Olivier Giroud (37), remain dangerous thanks to their experience and how well they complement Mbappe.

Assuming France can avoid the injury bug, Les Bleus are great value, especially at nearly 4-to-1 at FanDuel as of mid-April.

Germany — Best Available Odds:

The 2014 World Cup champs have struggled since raising the trophy in Brazil. The tournament hosts in 2024, Germany have failed to advance from group play at the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, and they also got bounced from Euro 2020 in the round of 16. This year’s squad features plenty of proven talent and a promising manager, 36-year-old Julian Nagelsmann, who is looking to bounce back after being fired by Bayern Munich in March 2023 during his second season with the club.

Germany’s veteran stars — keeper Manuel Neuer, right back Joshua Kimmich, and midfielder Toni Kroos, to name a few — should make this a tough side to beat, but Nagelsmann must find the right combination of attacking players from a group including Dortmund veteran Niclas Fullkrug, Thomas Muller, Kai Havertz, and Leroy Sane.

Spain — Best Available Odds:

Spain have an intriguing roster anchored by Manchester City star Rodri in the midfield. “La Roja” have changed managers, with Luis de la Fuente replacing Luis Enrique following the 2022 World Cup, and he has big decisions to make at nearly every position:

  • Keeper (Athletic Club’s Unai Simon or Arsenal’s David Raya?)
  • Midfield (will Pedri be healthy enough to start alongside Rodri?)
  • Forward (the options include Alvaro Morata, Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo, Nico Williams, and Ferran Torres)

Given all the uncertainty regarding this lineup, Spain are among the biggest wildcards in this tournament.

Portugal — Best Available Odds:

The first name casual fans think of when Portugal comes to mind is still Cristiano Ronaldo, but the offensive stars of Portugal’s 2022 World Cup roster were up-and-comers Goncalo Ramos (now 22 years old), Rafael Leao (24), and Bruno Fernandes (29). Portugal have the talent to make a run after scoring 12 goals in their first four World Cup games in ’22 — with just one of those coming via Ronaldo — leading up to a surprising 1-0 shutout loss against Morocco in the quarterfinals.

The strength of these sports betting apps relative to other options on the market places them in a class by themselves.

How do you read Euro Cup odds?
Euro Cup odds are typically listed as a three-way moneyline. Bettors can choose either team to win or bet on a draw.
