Poker players now have a brand new poker room in which to play at the Gold Coast, according to Garrett Okahara, poker room manager for the Gold Coast and The Orleans.

The new 24-hour poker room features eight tables, is completely non-smoking and is located in the northwest corner of the casino.

The room offers all of the most popular poker games and a variety of betting limits. Games include $2-4, $4-8, $6-12, $10-20 and No-Limit Hold ”˜em, as well as $1-5 Seven Card Stud, and $4-8 Omaha Hi.

Hold’em and Omaha games feature full blinds and half-kills with the exception of No-Limit. A player tracking system for comps and a daily "high hand" promotion are also being implemented.

"We are very excited to offer this new room to our loyal poker players," said Okahara. "Gold Coast’s new room features a variety of games, as well as state-of-the-art plasma television screens for our guests added enjoyment."
