Casino surveillance camera operators were caught with their shutters improperly focused at the Caesars Atlantic City Hotel and the infractions cost their company, Caesars Entertainment Inc. (CZR) an $80,000 fine.
According to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the violations took place in the year 2000 and 2001. At that time, they said, two surveillance camera operators "recorded footage of selected parts of the anatomy of several females" both players and employees.
The camera operators were fired.
A company spokesman emphasized that Caesars had "zero tolerance" for sexual harassment.
